I had dis same exact problem the encoder was 89$

Before anyone attempts this, I got mine going again by removing the knob and the nut, then spraying electric contact cleaner down there and spinning/clicking it. I don't know how long it will keep it going, but for a 5min fix I'm happy.

The 60AD18-8-M-060C is for the encoder it was 89.00 bucks folks I hope I don’t need it because I’m gonna send it back if I don’t. Just google the part # and go from there.

Thanks my guy, I needed dis in 2024. My radio stations will not search in sequence, by that I mean they’ll not go from 12345, instead it goes from 14 to 21 or when I search up it goes from 156 back to maybe 45or sumthing like that. The dealer wanted $2400 to fixed that for me. 12:52

It also seems you don’t need a 3 position switch but rather a single pole double throw two position would have worked as you don’t seem to use the middle “off” position.

I want to do this, but looking at your diagram, did you do this for both left and right sides? I’m hesitant to try it, as it’s unclear where those leads run to towards the front.

I got an 07 I'm looking to add a high output alt and an oddysey battery, I am gonna run 1/0 gauge wire. Looking at your setup I am extremely confused. So...power from alt to pos terminal, black to ground and black to chassis? Should be a normal setup correct? You just have a lot more wires because you're running another battery and grounding in multiple areas?

Good video. Question. Just bought my Hyundai Equus and none of the interior dome lights come on, nor the vanity lights or mirror lights nor the driver's side handle light. Seems weird they're all out, like they're switched off completely somehow by a switch I'm unaware of.. I dont think they're all attached to the same fuse.

Hi Matt.I need to replace the outside chrome molding and the inner liner (5.45) for the passenger side mirror (equus 2013). Can you please let me know where I can find these parts ? or at leat the parts numbers ? the dealer seems to be able to provide the complete morror modul ONLY not separated parts ...
