It also seems you don’t need a 3 position switch but rather a single pole double throw two position would have worked as you don’t seem to use the middle “off” position.

I want to do this, but looking at your diagram, did you do this for both left and right sides? I’m hesitant to try it, as it’s unclear where those leads run to towards the front.

I want to do this but you did not mention anything about a wire going from rear to the camera screen itself. Is that even necessary? Appreciate your input. Thanks👍🏽🙂

If you just find the wire powering your reverse lights that’s all you need

Need to have camera off to get reverse lights? lol Surely the goal is just to power the camera independent of reverse lights.
