I remember being obsessed with Mighty Med as a kid because I was a comic book superhero lover myself. The show had such a great energy that I didn't remember any other Disney Channel original (even my favorites) having that just resonated with me. Really it sucks that they got canceled and we got this weird Lab Rats spin off with Mighty Med characters (which is what it felt like) that ignored the cliffhanger Mighty Med ended up and shoe horned in some other random plot.

Every single time Donald and Douglas gets mentioned and it shows the Thomas characters my world to live get restored just a little bit

I wasn't even aware actors could book leading roles in competiting pilots or that it'd be one pitch over the other. Though Greenwald seems a bit obtuse. I'm sure he is glad his show got greenlit (and clearly the network thought it was better), but that's a super out of pocket thing to say just in response to a comment wishfully stating they'd have liked to have seen all the pilots turn into full shows. I do actually like the jokes they do about Chase being mad over super powers since it fits with his caricature. His entire life is science and technology, he basically has an explanation for everything. So superpowers appear and he freaks out or lashes out because it doesn’t fit for him, he’s trying to understand but can’t.
