The marching section and the pit and the pit will sometimes legit play a single note with an instrument for one part then not use that instrument the rest of the show, but the marching percussion is going hard the whole show especially part 3 which is usually the fastest part of the show. Part 2 of any band show may be marching percussion light as it's usually the slow part. I’ll take it a step further and say their father was the one who probably told them that. Kim and the boys always had a sweet relationship. Kim revealed in a podcast that she defended Dylan after he was being fat shamed. Like one of the higher-ups of the show said “he doesn’t eat until he starts looking like him(Cole).” Not sure if it was before or after that, but Dylan also defended Kim by purposely not saying a fat joke to her. Apparently she was pregnant at some point and a fat joke was written in and Dylan would purposely skip the joke. They told him to say it and he replied “If you think I am going to make fun of this beautiful woman, write a better joke.” Fun fact, Kim mentioned that she went through a goth phase and Cole thought that was cool. I like to believe that helped him get into the role Jughead from Riverdale.

The sad thing about the thing with Brandi (London's stepmom) is that Suite Life on Deck basically confirmed she and Mr. Tipton divorced, proving London right
@yogobriane1156 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I feel like Suite Life had so many one-off episodes that they never cared to expand on which is really unfortunate. Like, it would've been nice for Brandi to actually stick around and be a mother figure to London every now and then. There's also the Volleydad episode where Carey was going to marry a rich guy, and it would've been nice if they had continued that storyline because there's absolutely no reason why they should've stopped dating just because she wasn't ready for marriage. And don't even get me started on the fact that they wasted Maddie's appearance on Deck on a goofy storyline with a young prince instead of having her fulfill her promise to go with Zack to his prom. I will never forgive the writers for that. It's also unfortunate that they neglected giving London and Maddie long-term love interests aside from Lance, since most of their one-off relationships never ended on bad terms by the end of the episode, yet it seems like those relationships never happened once we got to the next episode. Suite Life is still an amazing show nonetheless, but I really do feel like Suite Life played it safe too much with some of the storylines that could've changed the direction of the show in a positive way.
@craigyeah1052 Жыл бұрын
Oh London was right. She never stood a chance of being wrong, she knows her dad, and he isn't changing. The point is that Brandi tried and it was nice of her, and London was just being a dick when obviously it wasn't Brandi's fault, and as far as she knew London was going to be part of her life. So London was right, but Mosby was more right.

I don’t want to miss out on the wonderful woman you’re becoming, and I’d love to be another pillar of support for you, even if I’m just a friend you reach out to when you want advice or need a shopping buddy.” That’s the kind of love and support London needs 💜 She gets it from Mosby, but sometimes Mosby’s hands are tied with the position he is in being a highly regarded employee of Mr.Tipton.

2:49:47 antarctica could actually be a very good place for tanning. The reason tanning happens is because your skin is trying to protect itself against the sun, and clear days with snow on the ground are actually where you get the most UV radiation, because you're being hit by the sunlight directly hitting you, and reflecting off of the snow, which is why it's really important to wear sunscreen especially on snowy days.

I like how even characters that the target audience initially aren't meant to like like Mr. Moseby are given a lot of depth and it becomes pretty obvious that he cares about the twins. The three PSA episodes are genuinely well-intentioned and their execution is pretty good for a Disney sitcom from the mid-2000's.

With London being in the same grade as Zack and Cody in Suite Life on Deck. It can easily be assumed that due to London being being dumber than a stack of bricks, plus the mention of her constantly skipping school, and getting kicked out of every private school in Boston, she got held back several times.
@RealogOnlyBrodie Жыл бұрын
It’s crazy that people actually shipped London with any of the younger characters on the show cuz she’s clearly mentally declining and is at most in her early 20s by the final season.
@MaryLoveJane Жыл бұрын
Isn’t she supposed to be the relatively same age as Maddie, who is just 3yrs older than the twins? No one bats an eye when Maddie was crushing on someone 3yrs older than her, she was actually encouraged to go for it. Idk it’s always hard to say with TV/Movie relationships because the actors tend to be older than the characters they depict, and Brenda Song was definitely older than London was supposed to be. 12yr old and 15yr old is inappropriate, but 16yr old and 19yr old isn’t *as* bad depending on the people and their maturity. A 3yr age gap in teen-young adult relationships isn’t uncommon. This is not me saying I ship London with any younger characters, I didn’t really watch Suite Life On Deck so I have no idea how she interacted with other characters or how old she and other characters appeared. I honestly think it’s weird they kind of shoe horned her character into the spin-off that way. They could have given her some character growth and had her learning more about the Tipton businesses, finally coming to terms with that fact that she needs to start taking some responsibility and learning to support herself to an extent. And the boys could help her execute some unorthodox ideas to promote business she has that may or may not work out.

Fun fact: Robert Torti (the guy who plays Kurt) was on Broadway for the 1987 production of Starlight Express, that musical about the trains where all the actors were on roller skates and they built that giant roller derby race course. He originated the role of Greaseball for Broadway and got nominated for a Tony. 1:23:33 fun fact: anyone on set, actors, directors, sound people, camera people, even parents can say cut if there's something wrong. When I did film I said cut as a lighting person because I was worried that a light was not secure. Parents of under age talent do in fact have the right to call cut because there could be a contract violation, a moral line being crossed, a concern about a way a director is speaking to talent or a way adult talent is interacting with underage talent and many parents of underage actors are unaware that they have the right to voice concerns. In real life if that ever happened that would be a lawsuit, but of course this is TV and it's plot so the director playing himself is playing a game version of himself that is acting more domineering than I'm sure he is in real life.

Conversely, for those with darker skin tones, if you trace back their genealogical history and compare them to their closest branch of genealogical relatives that did not immigrate to the arctic, you will find their skin tones are similar even though their common ancestors never actually lived there. I think the reason was that their contracts were always for 3 seasons (because of the law or something like that, or because of network regulations or because they were children) and when their show was successful and the network wanted to renew they had to get new contracts, in which they'd have to get paid more because the show is successful/it's been airing for a while and they're entitled to more pay/popular etc. But if the network renewed the show under a new name and had it be basically the same show with the cast playing the same characters, just under a different showname, they could get away with paying them more because they'd say "see guys you're staring in a completely new show and we can't afford to pay you as much"

I think this theory is genuinely true and its actually easy to see why. Skippy is a late season add-on and forgettable character, and the scene in question is in the dark where you mostly just see their silhouettes. Your brain might remember the episode, but it wont remember Skippy. So it just autofills in with Arwin or Esteban cause theyre the memorable male hotel staff that assist Zack and Cody throughout the series. This scene would absolutely have been Arwin or Esteban in an earlier season, it feels like Skippy mostly exists in general just to have hotel staff when Esteban and Arwins actors werent available

This retrospective was a lot of fun. Which KZbinrs like you, Quinton Reviews, and switch1e doing long ass retrospectives of childhood shows, I was waiting for someone to do Suite Life. I look forward to the Suite Life on Deck video.

I’ve rewatched this and part 1 over and over. I truly can’t wait for the On Deck rewatch. Great content Keyan!

There's just something so nostalgicly beautiful about this show. I used to be the biggest Selena Gomez fan, I had huge Hannah Montana posters in my room, I remember waiting every week for years for a new Good Luck Charlie episode since the pilot aired and I also remember the Shake it up was my favourite show at 8-9 years old. But this show feels the most nostalgic of them all. I think it's because I was too young when the show came out so I knew a lot about it before I saw it and than actually watched everything and it's was like growing up next to the twins. I was 3 years old when the show came out, probably only started watching the show at 7. I remember that I couldn't tell the twins apart and couldn't understand how Mosbey could until I continued watching and the difference became so clear as I felt I was getting to know them. I remember being so emotional over London's and mosbeys relationship. Until this day, Ashley Tisdales most iconic role to me is Maddy while for everybody else it seems to be Sharpay. I just love this show so much - the sets, the actors, the recurring characters, the vent gag but the thing I always loved the most is the intro of the show, it's just so iconic

Yeah. Ashley is Maddy to me. Brenda is London. Cole is not Jughead. He is Cody.
