This is profoundly late, but maybe somebody here could help. My issue is that my parents found out I am a dedicated furry, they are christian so obviously they don't want me to be a part of that community and purely because the only thing they take away from it is that it is oversexualized. I have trouble hiding it because they are INCREDIBLY strict, and my mother has a doctorate in human psychology so she can easily tell when I'm lying or hiding something, or when I am regrettably following her overly strict rules. I've found it almost impossible to not get caught and their strict rules are effectively ruining my life. And I've tried very passionately rebelling but they just ruined my life and took away everything I loved when I did so, and then put the blame on me. I know I'm a furry, but they don't understand my lifestyle and want me to change to their lifestyle they want for me because the lifestyle I long for is against what they believe in. I don't know how I can get back to the friends, people, and content I love without getting caught again. Please, if anybody has any ideas, I would love nothing more than some help with my situation.
