@Jose Flores Aw, that's really kind of you to say! They mostly left us alone for the most part luckily, and it was only those few instances from reddit where we got some negative feedback. But it thankfully didn't really hinder our progress

Nice story Soren. I'm kinda in a similar situation. I've been subconsciously aware of furries for years but it wasn't until March of 2020 (go figure) that I started watching them on KZbin and learning more about the Fandom. I've kind of been shadowing the Fandom wondering whether I want to join or not. I mean I don't even have a Fursona. Who knows I may join in the future. Anyway, enough rambling. I really enjoyed the video and eagerly look forward to your next.

Aww, thanks for watching! And yeah, I was actually the exact same way before I officially join the fandom. And you don't actually need a fursona to be a furry! (I talk about it in more detail in my "What Makes You A Furry" video) But in summary, take as long as you need to join the fandom of you're interested. Or if you're happy being on the outskirts and observing, that's perfectly fine! The only thing that makes you a furry is you wanting to be one!

So about three days ago my proposed Anthro Characters Club was freaking approved at my high school!! I am still processing the fact that I am the founder of a high school furry Club, but nonetheless, things are happening. We're gaining new members every day and were working on scheduling our first meeting. Of course, there has been some backlash with people taking down my flyers and dising the club on social media, but their efforts are only spreading the word further. Not only do we have a lot of members at my school but students all over the district are taking interest, supporting me, and getting inspired to possibly start one at their school! So maybe soon you'll see in the news a crazy story about a furry Uprising in my Texas city. Hopefully this club survives, if so so you people will hear from me again in the future. I would like to give you my deepest gratitude Soren for inspiring me to do this.

The first thing we did was kinda like an icebreaker game involving our fursonas! Basically, like any other icebreaker where you say your name and some fun facts, but we also included a part where you could explain what your fursona is, how you designed them, why you chose your species, etc.

Hm, that's certainly a bit of a problem. Still, if its something you and your friend are passionate about starting, it wouldn't hurt to give it a try! You might be able to draw some furries out of hiding with it!
