Will most scan tools have this option? Or do you know of an economical one that would work? Perhaps on Amazon or something?

Thanks for the question. Yes, most updated scan tools should have this function. Code readers will not be able to do this.

Good video, I have a 2018 murano , and when I tryed to change the filter myself it was virtually impossible for me to complete !, I watched tons of videos yours was about the best , it would have been awesome to see you actually insert the filter from start to finish but like you said there is limited space and is very difficult to do this replacement filter I'm in my 60s and can not contort my body like a circus freak 😅 anymore ! Lol , I don't know what the designers were thinking !?, that's it ! , they weren't thinking and didn't care about the mechanics or owners that would have to change this part down the road when it was time for replacement !, Nissan wants over two hundred dollars for this job and it's really a shame and sad customers like me have to pay that much for a simple filter replacement! I miss the 70s era cars so much cause you could have done any repair yourself and at a reasonable price 😢 oh man the good old days !

Very good video. Thanks! For removal of the ac-compressor bolts a normal socket and ratchet are too big to fit. I had to buy an E12 with a flexible socket attached to the handle. Worked nicely. For loosening the belt I used a short 15mm wrench and an extra hydraulic lift for the necessary pressure, otherwise there’s not enough leverage. The whole job is a major PITA. So this video helps a lot!

Thank you for the Phenomenal Video. I had a VERY odd problem and kept going back and forth with the wife telling her the damn battery is fine lol. Long story short i left key in ignition, killed battery then the exact symptoms you had showed up after charging battery. I removed positive and negative connections for 30 minutes and put them back on and truck started right up but idled at 1100rpm and sounded rough and wouldn't go down on RPM. I took it for a spin and had NOTHING at the gas pedal so i had to coast around the neighborhood then put it in neutral to coast back into driveway. Put it in park and it sounded terrible. Shut it down and knew to look at the WHITE PLUG under steering wheel. I was thinking it was loose as i had already verified all fuses were good. SURE ENOUGH WHITE PLUG UNPLUGGED (LOOSE). clipped it back tight and truck started back up but now IDLES CORRECTLY and i have it feeling normal again! GREATLY APPRECIATED for the detailed video and multiple tips! Keep up the great work!

Folks, I could not find that day-m socket to remove the alternator idler ANYWHERE. I tried Harbor Freight, Tractor Supply, Advance Auto, Autozone, ORileys, and even WalMart. NOTHING. This is pure BS. Why in the "aych" did VW engineers do this? If I manage to get these cockamamie triple square bolts out, I will NOT be putting them back in. This persecution is enough to make me NEVER buy another VW product.

For the slide-pins, I have found that using a Q-tip/cotton swab and putting the anti-seize INSIDE the rubber tubes (sleeves? don't know what they're called) on the caliper works better. When I put the anti-seize on the slide pins themselves, it would all get wiped off the pins when I inserted the pins into the tubes. So putting the anti-seize inside the tubes first would get better coverage and the pins would slide much more easily.
