What happened to the “left” over the past 20 years? It’s wild to see how they’ve changed…
@polybian_bicycle14 күн бұрын
I think you kind of nailed why on the video. It's like Marx said: through capitalism all that is holy is profaned and all that is solid melts into air. The modern leftist is mainly concerned with destroying the all traces of old western culture, which they deem irredeemebly racist, sexist, homophobic etc., as inhibitions to individual action. So for the time being at least, there is an unholy alliance between the capitalist and the leftist, because their interests align on this one issue of individual "liberation", which they both conceptualize not as self mastery and the denial of base passions, but as the lack of external barriers of behaviour.

Persons high in narcissism are attracted to leftism, and a corporation, especially one with weak internal control is (somewhat mysteriously) essentially a narcissistic, even psychopathic actor. Questions? Oh, and the sweet ESG money, of course (we will reduce your rates / give you tax breaks).
@FitPhilosopher16 күн бұрын
Agreed. Do corporations also promote narcissism? I can see how the heads of corporations have the traits you mentioned…is it rubbing off on us (culturally) as well?

Vitamin D is basically absorbed through the pores of the skin. The two most important exposure point is the solar plexus and spine. So, exposing your back and belly to the morning sunrise is a good way to assimilate Vit D

Head over foot is a consequence of good walking, and good walking is vertical body no forward lean and your movement begins and is projected from your center pelvis belly area and the limbs just stay relaxed and move as they should and yes the head moves side to side over the landing foot, focusing on your head or foot most likely will cause issues

I got a question. Is 125-150 squats 4 days in a row with one day break enough for a beginner? I always felt that my legs work better than my arms but also understand that it's a bigger muscle and it's also normal that you can doo more squats than push-ups. So are my numbers good for beginners or nothing impressive?
@FitPhilosopher4 ай бұрын
Bigger muscles take longer to recover..so if you’re able to train 4 days in a row you’re just not training hard enough. As a beginner, it’s ok to do more volume because you are learning how to train hard, but I would find the safest most effective exercises for legs you can do and hit them as hard as you can - ONCE…maybe twice per week. Work on that intensity!!

They wear it mainly because, being a celeb means you’re constantly working/busy this means they’re tired and it will reflect in their face, they’ll have dull eyes/eye bags and celebs know they must look good for the public so they wear it, some are shy some they also wear it, some have social anxiety so wear it, some are high af, some are prescription shades and some just think it looks good But it’s mainly wore to hide eye bags, tiredness and to feel comfortable since no one can see your eyes

I like Weck too. But with this one: why not just get your foot in a strong position: inside ankle bone high, funnel pressure to 4th and 5th metatarsal and balls of feet. And do stuff in that position?
@FitPhilosopher5 ай бұрын
I think this is just a passive form of what you’re doing. Sometimes it’s hard to actively get into that position if you’re untrained. This is a tool that you can use passively, just stand on it, then take what you feel and perform reps like you are talking about. This tool is definitely not mandatory, but it is nice for some passive work.

I’m wondering if there’s something to what the guy in the video is saying. In January of 2023, my testosterone level was 359 & my erections were not hard enough for sexual activity. I noticed since I’ve been using the leg press, leg extension & other leg machines for the past 3/4 months, my erections have stayed harder longer. Is there any truth to that? Btw, I’m 54 years old & I’m going to test my testosterone level next month.
@FitPhilosopher5 ай бұрын
As long as you’re getting enough recovery from the training sessions, you will benefit from the stimulus. Your problem specifically might not be due to an increase in testosterone, it might due to lack of blood flow. So, regular exercise, especially hard training with large muscles like the legs, will help train the muscular and cardiovascular systems that will in turn help blood flow to your sexual organs. Either way, I’d love to hear what your test results come back as. Keep training hard brother! 💪
