Many thanks for your video, very informative. I had no knowledge of TOOB until a leaflet came through the door today to say they are coming to our area. I am already on CityFibre Broadband with ZEN Internet, bagged a 24 month contract with 500mbs for £36 which will expire in April. This installation has been rock solid and ZEN supplied a Fritzbox router which is a very configurable router, it's not restricted in any way so I was able to make my own changes to suit my needs (retired IT person). It would be appreciated if you would give us a short update on reliability etc. My interest will be in the router, is it a badged router, Wi-Fi capabilities / performance and number of network ports. Look forward to your feedback or anyone else who uses TOOB.

I think that I will stick to combined grass feed and weed / moss killer. Usually just sprinkle it on the weeds by hand. It takes some time, but it works well.

Great information, cheers Dan. My daughters Edwardian semi has this exact problem. Her roof space is absolutely dripping with condensation in cold weather situations. Going to buy and fit a dozen of these for her. Thanks again.

I'm from Southampton & have been a bt customer since 2017 but their prices are extortionate for just broadband use, think its £60 per month & the signal/Download speeds aren't brilliant... the broadband box itself intermittently goes into a strop & lights flashing on it & making clicking noises lol

Got 10 plastic vents and 4 tile vents - 2 each side but still getting issues on very cold days. The soffits are asbestos board than have been capped over so no ventilation. It’s like to put more ventilation in from eaves but how would I do this if I can’t touch the asbestos?

hi, thanks very much for this. I am doing my own loft insulation. There is already about 100mm of loft insulation from the previous owner (they must have done it back in the early 2000s). I will top these up after inspecting them (and replace where needed). A question I have is: do all roofs have that vent on the side of the roofs like you mention at 03:16 ? I can't really see mine as there is a slope and it's hard to get underneath it with on lying on my stomach, and also the old insulation is in the way. What am I looking for? thank you

Pulling out weeds in summer-hardened soil is perhaps "a bit courageous" to say the least. I had my Fiskar Xact for about 3 years now and it works just fine. It is a real pleasure using it. No more bending down ! I noticed however, that the shaft for the lever is just a short 6mm rod in way too small a cylindrical section of hard-plastic. I noticed some cracks in the plastic and decided to take the original short rod out and replace it with a long 6mm SS screw which goes all the way through the entire width of the plastic part. Given the long lever which creates a very strong force on the little rod and the plastic seat, I really wonder how the Fiskar designer considered his design to be strong enough.

Which sprayer did you use? We've just has a hawthorn hedge replaced with a paling fence which will need re-treating at some point, as will our old shed. We also have a small brick workshop with 3 sides rendered, so I'm thinking about getting a sprayer that will cope with the shed & fence treatment as well as (diluted) masonry paint.

Thanks for the detailed review, Daniel! Before signing up with Toob, I watched the reviews including yours and thought it would be a good choice. Update: After 20 days without internet, the issue was finally resolved. Toob’s customer service team was excellent and kept me calm throughout. I believe the problem was with their network supplier, CityFibre, not Toob directly. I was compensated more than enough for the downtime. Initial Comment: Unfortunately, my experience has been quite different from yours. While the first 3 months with Toob were OK, my experience has taken a turn for the worse. I’ve been without internet for 14 days now, and despite multiple engineers, the problem still isn’t fixed. The communication has been inconsistent, and I’m left paying for a service I can’t use. It’s frustrating to see such a difference in experiences. Just wanted to say for anyone considering toob, be cautious-they might not always deliver. And when there is a problem, getting it resolved seems nearly impossible.
