Thank for your video. I have bought one of these, the air is supposed to be at 650 degrees celcius when the air exits the "weed burner". My question is if this actually sometimes make things catch fire? I dont want to risk burning down the house.

Thanks for that review. Very helpful. I'm waiting for my Virgin contract to expire next Spring. Good to hear about the installation. I will have to think about where I want the cable to come into the house. Will they run it from the telegraph pole straight into an easily-accessible loft? I assume I can use my own router instead of a toob one. Thinking about splashing out (big time) and getting something WiFi 7, and maybe a mesh system. What have people done about VOIP phone contracts? Any suggestions/recommendations? (I know it has nothing to do with toob and is just an internet service you buy separately). Alan

Make sure you slide the bottom orange handle up, so that the jaws can clip the weeds properly

I saw another one from Batavia Maxxheat from Netherlands with an attachment which goes down to burn the roots even: dont see it with Amazon Canada. Anyone having any information, pls respond

Looks like the gripping jaws are open when you are pulling the tool out of the ground, hence it doesn’t grip the weed. I use the same tool and to be honest the weed is gripped quite securely and comes out root and all. I do agree with your comments though that the plastic/metal combination could become a problem over time as the plastic is not the strongest. Generally it will pull out the bulk of the weeds in the garden root and all but any deep rooted weed might require the other tool that you use in your video. Perhaps the idea is that with regular maintenance and not allowing weeds to grow, then this tool is ideal..

WOW, thank you for showing how this works. Youve made a lady gardener very happy. I've had my lopper a few weeks now, thinking it was going to be too hard for me to use, but now I've seen you use it, I realise that is easy, and going to try it now there's some sunshine! 😍

In my experience with ducksback it’s prob the best fence paint I have used but it does not take well to other paints .. ducksback has to absorb into the timber for it to fully cure it will not dry on on paints will just wash off soon as it rains

I really like the plants that you have suggested to put under evergreen , pine trees. I have three big huge pine trees and I never knew what to put under them because of all the needles and pine cones that fall. Thank you very much

When I moved into this house there was a false spirea growing in the garden, but it got ripped out when I had a new fence installed. I was shocked to see that it grew back! So I put it in a large pot and it's thriving.

Yeah, you're kind of obsessed against this tool, first you used it the wrong way, then you use it in very dry and hard soil. You have the right to believe in working on your knees but it's just like religion, just keep it for yourself😅

So please i saw your video used mine first today, shrivelled weed will check in a few days. So easy to use as i cant bend to weed now, and using the scraper brush though effective is such hard work. I am doing organic gardening no weed killer slug pellets or other nasties trying to work with nature it is so satufsfying. Just need to be patient with this tool and it is so easy and light to use and much better than using naked flame too. Thank you for your review.

It’s clear from your video that you didn’t use the tool properly. From the video as you pulled out, the jaws were allowed to open. You need to properly lever and push on the handle to pull the jaw out in closed position. So it’s _user error_!

@2greenify2 ай бұрын
Dont burn, just hear for 1 to 3 seconds. This destroys the photocells in the leafst. Which will exhaust the root in a few days to a week. Root dies and works faster.

I don't suppose yours came with the charger for...£89 Can I ask if youve ever used a metal cutting disc that some brands offer, & if so, how well do they get through brambles and very thick weeds (as I assume that's what the metal discs are for) ive never used a cord/flex strimmer yet, where you don't have to constantly have to take the cap off & keep rethreading the flex. Hopefully these...tag type blades don't break off/wear so easily
@Smiler72 ай бұрын
I have this strimmer. The weak link are the blades. Fine on grass but they wear very quickly if you are strimming weeds from you patio or drive. They are made of a very cheap plastic. It would be nice if you could get metal or tough nylon ones, if required.
@Leopardipzg2 ай бұрын
I guess that's what explains the cheaper price compared to ryobi/makita

Hi mate can I ask your opinion on something? A company phoned my elderly mother just before Christmas offering a damp inspection in her loft. They came out that day and said there was damp in the timber. I've seen the photos they sent of this and the highest moisture level according to their gadget was 14.3%. That was the highest. Anyway they persuaded her to let them install a foil ligning on the inside of the roof itself and treated the timber with an anti fungal treatment. It's not even the thick foil stuff they've used, just regular stuff you can buy in Wickes. They charged my mum over £2800 for this. Then the other week they returned again and said that the loft insulation on the floor (the usual fibre stuff) was still wet and they charged my mum another £2800 to remove all the loft insulation and treat the timber again with some form of anti fungal treatment. The loft now has no insulation bar the foil stuff on the roof and my mum has paid nearly six grand for all this. It's a 3 bed semi detached by the way so not a huge house. I think my mum has been badly scammed here. What do you think? Thanks.
@mhairimushroom560122 күн бұрын
Are you in Scotland? Call Home Energy Scotland to see if she can get help with new insulation. It's called Simple Energy Advice, in England. You should go to Trading Standards and the Citizens advice bureau about the company if you think they've misled your Mum.
