Great video! Definitely opened my mind to looking at the strategy of board placement. The only thing I would say for any future videos (which I hope there are!) is don’t assume the audience knows all the war bands or what they do. Some of the strategy was lost on me because I’m unfamiliar with the war bands and their common tactics.

Just found this channel and I’m stoked. I just started playing the year and this game is tricky and I’m still not very good. But I’m learning watching these, so thanks.

Hey mate, is it possible for just one person to be collecting the warbands and new seasons (I am joining now and have everything from Direchasm (included) onward). So my plan is to just snap up everything that comes out (including 1x Essential Cards set, Illusionary Might and Silent Menace set) and then just sort of pool those with my friends and let everyone pick cards so they don't have to keep spending as well. Can this yield competitive games or is it going to be more casual as well?

I only play casually at home, so when I play we pick a season box and play only warbands from that season. If teaching the game I usually still start with Shadespire as I think they are most accessible. I also end up playing 3 or 4 player games often, and multiplayer probably would have a different tier list.

everytime you play a card you should put it on the screen. it would emprove waaaaay much the viewer experience. also, put the fighter's cards in the beginning of the video so we see what each one can do

If you look carefully the double gloom and objectives are printed differently, they're mirrored in the design so once you know, it's easy enough to figure out which is which. Also at 36:10, zombies can't hold objectives so dominant position couldn't be scored.

Hey guys, glad to see the new warbands on the table, they look great! Couple rules notes, but the FAQ actually clarified that you receive primacy after reactions, not before, so you can't use Primal Lunge in the same sequence that you gain the primacy token. Also, I think the generally accepted way to play Centre of Attention is that you must push each fighter within 2 hexes of the chosen fighter, with the "up to" wording covering for scenarios where you are unable to push a fighter closer (due to a blocked or occupied hex being in the way). Doubt either would've mattered given how fast jacko killed Marcov and Deintalos anyway. Slynk is the greatest, yes-yes!
