Came here upon hearing of Greg Gumball’s passing. Greg of course was the host of The NFL Today alongside Terry Bradshaw during this time. RIP Greg. You definitely made Sundays so much fun. Say hello to Pat and John for me.

If this was the theme you heard before your 4pm game, you knew you were getting the best that the NFL had to offer. The NFC was the better conference back then and usually you would get to hear Pat Summerall and John Madden calling whatever game it was in the 4pm time slot. For those that didn’t get to experience those time live, look up some of those older games and watch and listen. They were incredible!!

worst thing to ever happen to the NFL was CBS ditching this masterpiece everytime i listen to this music, i get vivid flashbacks of that 2000 Ravens vs Titans playoff game on Baltimore's journey to hoisting their 1st Lombardi in Tampa the season that fully converted me from absolute sports despiser into hardcore Bucs fan <3
