Elliot's one of very few genuine EV rebel truth-tellers left in cyberspace. Only KZbin comment-posters NOT channel-hosts talk about the obvious massive un-met need and demand for cheap-but-great fun and funky little 4-seater EVs in the West. And these compact easy-to-park little EV marvels are perfect as a 'Most Frequent Use' (not 'second') car for anyone - whether rich or poor. Got that - Mr. 'half charged' Robert Llewellyn et al? The J6 looks like a great car ! Can't wait to get my hands on the first EV 4-wheel SUV in Malaysia. Chery Malaysia said we will get it in the 1st quarter of 2025.

Far behind?? Nah. (Almost) all electric cars have no spare tires. Electric cars are LEFT BEHIND.

Do these Ev's have heat with defrosting for winter plus air conditioning for summer. Also where do you buy them from .
@aldoirshady63153 күн бұрын
Got mine few weeks ago. It was sold under the name Chery J6 here in Indonesia. But funny things it has icar “i” logo at the front, and the steering wheels, and also the software called jaecoo 😂. I think its bout name copyright here in Indonesia. Anyway, it cones with 2 specs here, the RWD single motor and the iWD dual motor. Has the same battery, the different is only the rims. In iwd trims we have 4 cooled seats with no heated (its very hot in here so we dont need it mostly) and also massage seats in front seats. Its not cheap tho as car prices isnt cheap in here, only slightly cheaper than a Hyundai Kona EV signature long range (the most expensive trims, and konas dont have awd options, and no massage seats). Its a fun and easy and quite surprisingly decent cars, the ride was good, the tech was okay, and its one of the most affordable and well equipped car in Indonesia EV market. The only things that i dont like is just the numb steering wheels, but the rest was surprisingy good

@che_1203 so far so good. Some minor glitches in software, but nothing too serious. Planning to bring it to chery dealership to have them check it out and activating phone app software as soon as possible

He says this the best EV SUV, yet his review highlights everything wrong with it. It’s heavy, doesn’t ride well, rolls in corners, has a bland and cheap interior, limited boot space, and feels like it’s designed for your aunt. Despite having 600hp, the power isn’t really usable. Sure, it has buttons in the right places and a convenient armrest, but that’s hardly enough to make it great. Honestly, it seems like he only likes it because it’s not a Model Y, which he clearly dislikes.

How 's the UI of the infotainment in these Zeekr cars I wonder? I' ve only seen it in Chinese but I assume you can set it to English as well? How's the navigation software? Which maps does it use, does it pre-heat the battery for charging, how's the app, can you watch KZbin/Netflix while charging, does it support CarPlay/AA, etc... I mean the car looks great and the higher trims look amazing but I want some info on the above questions. I've also heard that lease prices in Europe are really high because of low rest-value.

No matter which way you cut it, Tesla Y, especially the new 2025 Jumiper/Opal updated version, is still way more refined than any Chinese designed car. Not to mention Tesla's charging infrastructure which is superior to any other brand and the constant OTA updates.

Thank you Richard, excellent video. If we remove the shiny black stuff, the drab grey interior and lose a 1K kg in weight may be a contender. Albeit, I would like air suspension on my Model Y.

Your comment about seeing the occasional little settlement makes me wonder how many of these are remnants of previous, and possibly, larger Silk Road settlements or if they are ones that stem from the years of the Cultural Revolution. Of course, they could just be people who want to live a more off-grid independent lifestyle, too; the reasons why and where people live are always a fascinating aspect of travelling, especially when it's out in the whops.
