@@MotoMaximusThanks, Drove it for a few miles this morning and the lights are still on. So far changed the aux batt, vacuum hose not sure what is next maybe the sensor on the brake booster. I also tested the vac pump off the the Jeep and it runs and pull a strong vacuum, but on the Jeep plugged in to the connector it does not run with the Jeep running so it not getting power so check the fuse and it is good not sure what else I can check any ideas? Thanks

@ some guys reported the bus needing to be replaced behind the glove box. Perhaps that is why the pump is not being triggered to turn on. It definitely should be cycling on and off upon start up.

Got a 2020 Rubicon with 18k on the clock and running 35"s no lift. Just bought it yesterday and after hitting a rough patch on the road the Check Engine,(ABS) Traction Control and Service 4wd lights came on. After reading a few forums, I went and checked all of the fuses and some seam to click back into place but now only (ABS) and traction control lights are on.This seams very strange for a 2020 with only 18k miles on it. Thoughts? Plus we are preparing for this Hurricane Milton to hit central Florida on Tuesday ... uggg!
@MotoMaximus
@MotoMaximus Ай бұрын
18k, is it still under warranty? May not be a bad idea to check on that first. Maybe a wheel speed sensor got loose which cause cause similar issues. That system pretty much says that if there is a failure of any sort, shut the whole system down. Kinda crazy, but that’s how it works. Also, check code scanner to see if it points to something specific.

@MotoMaximus
@MotoMaximus 2 ай бұрын
On right turns counter steering and momentum are you best friends. If you go too slow the bike will want to fall over, so keep the speed up just a bit. Beginners typically have a fear of leaning and end up sticking their leg out. So I would recommend working on this as well - you don’t need to make u-turns to work on leaning. Just take some nice, gradual turns at 10-15mph but lean in.

I have the same issue. I have the 3.6 e-torque. I have a lithium battery underneath the jeep and don’t believe I have the auxiliary battery under the 12 volt. Recently replaced the 12 volt because the start up sounded like a weak battery. It did solve weak startup but I’m getting the start stop and stability control code at the same time. Turn the Jeep off and back on the codes are gone. Happens intermittently. I will have to check vacuum pump and lines.

Beast Mode Brother!!! Incredible!! So im guessing you didnt sleep at all? I thought the out rigging stabalizers were a good idea. Why would they be bad? Were they thinking that if you flipped you would never get it backover? As I see it you were doing and going somewhere that they were scared to and then you did it the wrong way.
@MotoMaximus
@MotoMaximus 3 ай бұрын
Thanks man. Definitely was not sleeping on that trip, was way too alert. Too spooky at night haha. As for the stabilizers, for me, they were a good idea and worked well. The comments I received were that I should have learned to roll back over instead of relying on stabilizers. However, if the conditions were bad, especially at night, rolling over with gear on the boat may have been a bit difficult to say the least. It’s something that one should know how to do, but in a solo open water crossing - the game is a bit different than being close to shore. I think that’s what folks underestimate.

@MotoMaximus
@MotoMaximus 4 ай бұрын
68053596AA nothing wrong with using aftermarket stuff, but you may as well use OEM mopar parts since there shouldn’t be much of a price difference. The only exception is the pump, which may be harder to get in OEM and will be pricier. Chances are, the pump is fine.. simply start the car, unplug the vacuum line, put your finger over the intake line to the pump and wait for it to kick on. If there is suction, then it should be fine.

The way he was tippy toeing around with his loose shoe laces gave me massive anxiety. At least tuck in the shoe laces or get a chain guard/plate (I forgot what it's called but it's a small plate that goes just above the gear shift to protect the chain). Both of you have really bad riding posture, your arms are straight with locked elbows and bent wrists. You need to relax your shoulders, bend the elbows, and your wrists should straight with your arms (Bent wrists ruin the levers ergonomics, forcing you to accelerate while reaching for the brake lever - very bad!). Lastly, and this is just my opinion but, using B mode to learn is bad because once you get used to the delayed/reduced throttle input then you have to learn A mode all over again (RIP muscle memory). B mode should be used for experienced riders in the rain or low grip situations, not for new riders to learn. Riding in B mode means you're just not ready yet.
@Early_2K
@Early_2K 4 ай бұрын
I agree with everything minus the Ride mode. It takes verryyy little effort to react to the differences between modes and get used to them. for me stuff like that takes 5 mins tops and it's as if it was back to normal.
@MotoMaximus
@MotoMaximus 4 ай бұрын
Technically he was in D mode, lowest throttle response. This is to prevent unintended wheel hops. Newer riders tend to punch the throttle sometimes and this is a great way to dull things down. A rider can progress through modes when they get comfortable. No, it does not take much time to adjust to the different modes if you have been on the bike a while. In fact, on the newer R1 I prefer my response to be in B mode with the power up at max as this gives me more control when on tight turns when I don’t want my throttle to be jerky. On other bikes I find the throttle to be less responsive by default in comparison to the R1. Riding posture is fine and no the elbows were not locked out. Wrists were mostly straight with the levers in the most upright position. I’ve never punched the throttle when reaching for my brake in 20 years of riding. In fact i always have 2-3 fingers over my brake lever at all times like this 👌 I never hold it like this ✊ It has always worked really well for me. As for shoe laces, ya he could have tucked them in, or wore Velcros, maybe even wore crocks next time. 😸

Congrats, the only thing you're going to learn is how to survive a machine thats 1000 times beyond your skill. Obviously you're too naive and narrow minded to even understand how stupid this is. I’ve already stated many times before that I don’t recommend starting on a liter bike, but doesn’t mean you couldn’t. I always dial the power and throttle response down to make it a bit easier for the noobies. 👍👍
