Love this! Breakable was Courtney Hadwin's first official release of an original song, first release as an independent artist, and this was her first concept video, the beginning of an era.

This is by far my favourite music video of 2023. Not only is it her first original release, but the production level, and the symbolism throughout too, exquisit. It may look like it was shot in America, on Route 66, but apparently it was filmed on the coast of Spain.

Ivan Mendez was Angelina's (12y) guitarist in LA in 2018. In an interview with Alan Papier on his KZbin channel, Ivan told the story of how the cover came about. In a nutshell ( I mean in summary, I can't give an interview of almost 40 minutes in two sentences, please listen to Ivan Mendez yourself. ) "Angelina doesn't have a wish list of songs, she decides spontaneously if she likes a song. After hearing this song she says great song and has downloaded the lyrics. Then Ivan played the melody and Angelina says" good but slower, slower , even slower. OK, well, let's start ". Hi. What a fabulous song 'Call Me Back' is. It reminds us of a couple of truths about Courtney's incredible talent. First, she can sing virtually anything and do it better than just about anyone else. Second, no one sings with the passion, intensity and emotion that Courtney does. This song rips your heart out every time you hear it. It goes straight to the depth of your heart and soul. Third, Courtney is such a powerhouse as a songwriter. The lyrics in all of her originals have such depth and meaning. No fluff lyrics for her just to sing something to fit the music. Because Courtney's vocals are so spectacular, her songwriting skills often get overlooked, but she is incredible at it.

This song gets me every time. Such an emotional masterpiece.. it could cover many situations. And, for me, she gives me the same energy and emotional impact as Meat Loaf, especially from his Bat out of Hell II era, with his songs like Objects In The Rear View Mirror... and I Will Do Anything For Love.

Every performance by Courtney was amazing. Her audition of ‘Nutbush City Limits’ was every bit the equal of her AGT audition that sent her fame to the stratosphere and that finals performance of ‘And I’m Telling You’ may have been one of the great performances of all time. Courtney is truly a generational level talent that is going to change the face of music forever.
