Courtney Hadwin is an English singer. She rose to fame by competing prominently in the first season of ITV's The Voice Kids UK 2017 and in the 13th season of NBC's competition show America's Got Talent the following year.
In this video she sings "River Deep Mountain High" on AGT finals.

Amazing is right! This is still my all-time favorite performance and I'm sure nobody will top it until Courtney gets back in front of a live audience again. She absolutely should have won. When she came back for AGT Champions, even Simon Cowell said , "When you were on the show last time and you didn't win, my mouth literally dropped. So many people disappointed, hence the reason you're here today." Ask a million Courtney Hadwin fans why she didn't win and you might get a million different theories, but I've come to the inescapable conclusion she's just too damgood for talent shows and always has been. The first time somebody sees a full demonstration of her talent, like Hard to Handle in the audition, it literally takes a minute or three to realize their eyes and ears aren't playing tricks on them. The sound of "OMG"s and jaws hitting the floor is deafening. Some folks who simply can't handle that level of undeniable greatness never come to terms with being overwhelmed and won't just buckle in and enjoy the ride. Then there's those of us who can't wait to buy a ticket for another one.😳😲😱🙃🤣😂😅🥳

How can a 14 yr old British girl sound like this? She is a phenomenon. I saw it when it was played here in New Zealand in 2018. I've seen it dozens of times, along with the rest of her performances, not only on AGT, but before and after too. She should have won, but in a way I'm glad that she didn't. She would have been locked into an unbreakable contract, and we would have not gotten her independent songs she released this year otherwise. Over the last five years, for me, she is the GOAT. I'm surprised that she is not more widely known, it is such a shame.

The official video for That Girl Don't Live Here has a million views and the song has been streamed almost that many times on Spotify alone, to say nothing of the other streaming services. Monsters made the Billboard Hard Rock Digital Sales List, entering at number 16, and was named The Coolest Song In The World for the first week of December by Little Stevie Van Zandt's Underground Garage on Sirius Radio, so it's in the running for Coolest Song In The World 2023 (will be announced tonight). 2024 promises to be even more exciting, with her long awaited debut album coming out, probably in February. Some of the possible songs for the album that she's shared clips of have everyone who hears them raving! It probably won't be long after that at all until she starts playing live shows again. With the roadblocks that had dragged her career to a grinding halt toppling, from Covid to Corporations, Courtney Hadwin is now the master of her own destiny, and the world is hers to conquer. This is no time to be sad. It's time to Rock and Roll!
