Thanks for the tips. I bought this paint for my front door with a dark blue tint and gloss. I had 2 coats of Taubmans 3 in 1 prep painted before painting final colour. The first 2 coats were really bad with a paint brush. Lots of streaks and white undercoat showing. Once I switched to a roller like you suggested the finish was a lot better. I've given 3 coats of colour and will probably do 1 more for the inside tomorrow and maybe another 1 or 2 for the outside.

Going to search boxing paint now.

My house in Eastern North Carolina USA is 75yrs old with peeling, tacky, shit latex slopped over oil base paint. That's the plaster walls. Do you think I should try to sand the gooey latex and apply latex primer? Or can I somehow get away with just a wipe down and apply an oil based eggshell enamel or oil based primer? I'm on a budget and need to sell this house fast. I appreciate any help

Hi Gregory so once rinsed in diesel the brushes want go hard ? I used to use a vapour box for oil brushes. Company that made the vapour, changed the formula. Result being brushes do not stay soft.

I was thinking about getting one of these. I figure my wife can hold the pole with the shield on it and just move down the wall as I progress.

I’m putting mine together and one wall cabinet took me an hour 😂

I just typed in angle grinding a deck and this came up. Used a liquid stripper on our deck 2 times and just not satisfied enough with the wood, going to stain it. I used an angle grinder to strip our log cabin so am good with that and am considering using grinder on the deck like this. When I used the grinder on the cabin it was really slow going, with each stroke small and calculated. The logs were curved. Then sanded with orbital. ? is how do you use that grinder thst fast with the disk completely on the wood without gouging it, or damaging it? Do you not put much pressure on it? Does the metal circle in the middle not get in the way? What was the bigger grinder for in particular, just to do more faster? Just some random ?s. Ty

My first time owning a house with a tongue and groove ceiling. Had no idea the mess it would make when I had my tar and gravel roof replaced this week!!! Hindsight is 20/20, getting ready to caulk onto a newly painted (3 months old) ceiling with Benjamin Moore mid-grade flat paint. Is it safe to go straight to the caulking or do you recommend priming first?

What did they think would ruin the gun? I'm more worried about ruining the pump. Where do you dump the water/turp mixture?

I've used Berger triple prep on/over oil based doors, jams & architraves, an it stuck unbelievably.. I was amazed.. 👍👍

I installed a cat delete and removed it after having a severe loss of low end torque. I reinstalled the cat and the power came back. The 1330 is very sensitive to back pressure.

Greg did u brush the top boards in after u finished the walls as I didn't see masking to protect the eaves etc

I just caulked a tounge and groove ceiling last year for a customer. I primed first with an oil based stain blocking primer first then applied duration matte over top. I’m now wondering if it’s a big no no to caulk these ceilings. Is that true or did I do it right?

Actually guys....there is actually a model out there that has that switch, but it's fixed or it's just there for decoration. I saw it in one of the hardware stores. I do not think it's even called ETS3000. Why Dripless released that as such we don't know really and no, I do not think it's fake. What's outrageous is that the store was selling it for 40 USD dollars for a non dripless model.
