Okay, finished watching most of the video. I would like to see this trainified somehow. I wonder if there is some way to make it print itself as it goes up. I would ike to see this built up with sensors, too.

With the new signal update, sensors and such can be used to make the elevator stop at floors and have a smoother “call” function.

old video, but you could make this as wide as 1 single cog... just offset them like 1 block and it wont be as wide if your goal is to make the narrowest elevator

Whenever I build a warhead it's unarmed and when it drops it doesn't explode. How can I change that?

Arm the warhead before dropping. Or if you are printing one then make sure it is armed before you blueprint it for the projector.

A lounging run mode would be nice with the front leg pair and the rear leg pair going at the same time, might be a bit faster that way if there was a good way to transition between steerable walk and run that probably won't steer as well)
