I'll pass. I have several NIVAC volumes as e-books and they have relatively in-depth content. Seeing Ezekiel introduced in just two paragraphs is disappointing. By comparison, the Ezekiel intro in the one-vol. NBC is 2 and a 1/2 pages. Of course, each project has its own decisions to make. But in the end I think you only need a couple good one or two-volume ones (e.g. the abridged EBC). After that, it's on to fuller treatments.

I have a huge problem with this book. It omits Acts 8:37. His esv study Bible also omits Acts 8:37 however his nkjv study Bible has Acts 8:37 left in. You are playing both sides. Deuteronomy 4:2 clearly states you dont add nor take away from The Bible. Please confess your wrongs please repent. Your name is on these. You gladly received payment from me and probably countless others. Its not too late.

Seems like it would make a good daily devotional commentary. More information than a study Bible note, less lengthy than a regular commentary. A good balance for those reading through the Bible in a year.

I would definitely consider it if your priority is conciseness and you frequently use the application sections to get ideas. In the time I have spent with it so far, the exegetical sections seem cut and paste, though sometimes truncated, and the application sections seem summarized, perhaps by the new editors to this project. I think this approach may be a good thing because, for example, 1 Corinthians' application suggestions are from the mid 90's. To have the writer's thoughts about living as a Christian in 1995 re-worked a little probably won't hurt! :)

If Christian’s get to judge LGBT folks, that means that LGBT folks get to judge Christians. Who said… “Judge not, lest ye be judged?” Christian sexual repression leads to sexual abuse. According to the French government, the Roman Catholic Empire raped over 32O,OOO innocent French children. Just since 195O. If we extrapolate from this French datum for the at least 8 other Roman Catholic dominant countries, we end up with over 3 million children raped by Roman Catholics just since 195O. The FBI is currently investigating the rampant level of sexual abuse of women and children in the Southern Baptist Convention. Which is the largest Christian denomination in America. Liberty University, the famous Evangelical University, recently was fined 14 million dollars for just ignoring the significant level of rape on their campus for many, many, many, decades. Christian sexual repression is not innocent, as it leads to an ugly level of sexual abuse. So take care whenever you are in the sexually toxic Christian community. Especially the child raping Roman Catholic Empire. Remember that idealism is always, always, always, based on denialism. This is why the Christian community is once again attacking the LGBT community as being sexually dangerous. Which is clearly a projection. LGBT folks are not groomers. As the evidence demonstrates the actual groomers are largely sexually repressed Christian males. They are just engaging in ugly and hateful deflection to hide and conceal their own sexual toxicity. They are just scapegoating and distracting from their own sexually criminal behavior and history. "Look over there, not over here." So don't be fooled by all of their ugly and hateful lies. And remember that if Drag Queens are all about love, then it begs the question as to what Christianity is actually all about? So therefore perhaps Drag Queens can help Christians learn how to love better. As currently they all seem so love disabled. Even though Mother Nature has never been heterosexual, but has always been, and will always be, LGBT. Just like her natural world of which we are all a part. See the brilliant and amusing recent Peacock documentary titled: QUEER PLANET.💙

Native Americans crossed the Atlantic to Central America from the Mediterranean Sea. There are four or five haplogroup lineages that show this migration route, A C&D maternal lineages and the Q paternal lineage as well as probably the C paternal lineages make this same crossing. People are ignoring actual known human history. The actual historical records and DNA migrations show that everyone spread out from Mesopotamia. Ancient history is essential for everyone to know, especially the sixteen original civilizations… from the sixteen grandsons of Noah. We should learn ancient history before trying to learn science. 1. The first inhabitants of Italy (K) Tubal 2. Thracians (L) Tiras 3. Mediterranean Greek sea people (T) Javan 4. Siberians & East Asians (NO) Magog 5. Eastern Europeans & East Eurasians (P) Meshek 6. Medes (Q) Madai 7. Western Europeans (R) Gomer 8. Hebrews and Arabic (IJ) Arphaxad 9. Elamites (H) Elam 10. Assyrians (G) Asshur 11. Arameans (F1) Aram 12. Lydians (F2) Lud 13. Cushites (AB, C) Cush 14. Egyptians (E3) Mitzrayim 15. Canaanites (E2, D) Canaan 16. Original North African Phoenicians (E1) Phut The D paternal haplogroup Sino descendants of Canaan migrated from Canaan east to China all the way to Japan and Tibet. The C paternal haplogroup descendants of Nimrod migrated as far as South Asia, the Pacific, Mongolia and all the way to the Americas accounting for the Olmec civilization as well as the Q haplogroup descendants of Madai ancestor of the Medes that crossed the Atlantic to Central America. The A maternal mtDNA haplogroup belonging to the Semitic N lineage accompanied the Eurasian Q paternal haplogroup to Central America. The C&D maternal haplogroups belonging to the Eurasian M lineage also accompanied the Atlantic crossing of the Q paternal haplogroup Medes and probably the C paternal haplogroup to Central America. The Semitic B maternal mtDNA haplogroup seems to have crossed the Pacific Ocean to South America. The Mediterranean paternal R1b and the maternal X2a also found in Galilee represent another Atlantic crossing of the Phoenicians in the days of King Solomon considering also the Mediterranean paternal haplogroups of T, G, I1, I2, J1, J2, E and B in addition to the R1b in Native American Populations. J1 and J2 is Arabs and Jews. (I1 is most likely Dan and I2 resembles the movements of the tribe of Asher) Of course there is also the Cohen modal haplotype of J1 P58 as well which identifies the IJ lineage of Hebrews and Arabs that are descended from Arphaxad. J2 M172 is the largest group of descendants probably of the House of the kings David and Solomon. Now you know a lot more of what is verified human history. Neanderthals were Eurasians descended from Japheth and Denisovans are a mix of Eurasians and Canaanites and or Cushites descended from Ham.

The book of genealogies is exactly what I'm looking for, but the print is too small for my old eyes. I wish they would come out with a paperback, to make it easier for arthritic hands, and larger print for older folks like me. I would definitely buy a two volume set, if they would be as I previously described.

NEVER FORGET: Faith (in the religious context) is not and logically CANNOT be a reliable tool for discerning what is true from what is not true. Any person who honestly, objectively cares about the truth has no choice but to discard faith from the outset.

Buist Fanning's commentary is rooted in dispensationalism, which may limit its acceptance among more academic scholars due to this particular theological perspective." "I've read Keener's commentary and found it quite insightful. I also own Aune's and Beale's commentaries. Beale's interpretation is influenced by Calvinism, which can be seen in his approach to Revelation and yes the clear text of Revelation overcomes his calvinist bias. However, despite this bias, it remains a valuable commentary overall. I've purchased the printed versions of these commentaries."

Hi, thanks for the question. The commentaries I've read straight through are mostly introductory, like exposition commentaries (e.g., Preaching the Word series, Focus on the Bible, John Scott's commentaries) or mid-level (e.g., TCOT/TCNT). But most of the time I use commentaries of every level as reference tools.
