i feel the best when i eat when im hungry and whatever appeals to me the most. im so done and over with keto and low fodmap and everything that has rules that don't resonate with my body. i only eat natural foods and im done with highly processed foods too. It really depends on the day and time if i wanna skip a meal or wanna eat or eat 3 times like usual too. Personally when it rains my bloating gets worse and that's when i should refrain from eating, so i cut back on eating a little bit in moderation and see how it goes. I think it relates to my candida and sibo, but yeah, seasons matter too.

Dr. Dinezza, where would you see this documented?? Big Pharma controls information, as you should be aware. I hope you arent part of the medical mafia.

How important is diagnosis really? How about everyone just skip all diagnostic measures and just pretend they have both SIBO and Candida. Just treat both of them aggressively, one after the other.

Im far from healed from my debilitating posti-infectious IBS-D, but I've noticed short term help from ginger, artichoke, HCL, and digestive enzymes before meals. I can eat so much more with less stomach pain when I take those 4 supplements. Hoping I wont have to take them for life, but we'll see.

I have been diagnosed with sibo but not with the specific kind of it. I try to eat low fodmat and eat simple stuff to kind of manage it.. The super odd thing about it tho is that whenever i visit my family in another country and i eat their food ( cooked with loads of onions, beans and spoces) I feel almost completely fine. But i have terrible bloating and everything when i cook the same stuff where i live. I really dont get it...
@macdashitКүн бұрын
Seasonings can cause bloating too, organic fruits for three days would do you right and some jogging

I have severe IBS-d, my functional GI said it was PI-IBS, due to previous infections, diverticular disease etc. I did the smart test and it was negative for both antibodies. My GI said it was not a trustworthy test, and neither was SIBO testing. She said once nerves are damaged in infections the gut never works well again. She want me to try TCA's which imho have a tone of side effects.

4.5 years since I got very sick with SIBO that was brought on by a second bout of food poisoning in the year leadning up, tested with anti-vinculin positive. Much much better over time and pro-kinetics - mega ginger extract and an ongoing small dosage of HCL help keep things steady.

My sibo actually started resolving once I started fixing my motility so I agree entirely with the way you look at sibo. Before my food intolerances were very extreme, now they're moderate to minimal.

An N-of-one here: Pyridoxine is not a real vitamin and there is research strongly suggesting that this B-6 vitamin analogue and precursor will compete with actual B-6 causing lots of problems consistent with frank B-6 deficiency including oxalate sensitivity.

Care to link one? That’s an interesting assumption.
@justinhale5693Күн бұрын
@@BT_life2 Sure, here is one I found from the end notes of a book I read. It demonstrates a mechanism for causing B-6 deficiency from the vitamer pyridoxine which simultaneously is an active vitamin precursor and vitamin analogue that competes for the same space as active vitamin B-6: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28716455/

As someone that went thru acid reflux for over a month it may not be to much acid but not enough, do the the test below , if low take the betaine hcl one capsule before or during meal if it doesn't help right away try two it's hard they may be large caps ,or try two tbsps apple cider vinegar in glass of water with big pinch of pink salt and tsp of lemon juice, three times a day with small meals that you are chewing very well, good luck one of these two should help, it helped me.

Test low stomach by taking a quarter tsp of baking soda in a 4 oz glass of water no burp within the first 5 mins this is a good sign of low stomach acid( first thing in morning)

Do you have an opinion on S-sulfocysteine? Chris Masterjohn has been talking about this and it makes a lot of sense to me. Slow SUOX means accumulation of sulfite which combines with cysteine. Does this then reduce availability for glutathione production? Low glutathione upregulates transulfuration and overload of SUOX continues. I can see a possible vicious cycle.

Dr K's veggie mash was recommended by a functional practitioner that I follow. I found this video to give me more info about it. Thanks so much for sharing the results with us. Can you tell me what portion size were your veggie mash cubes? Did you add any fresh herbs to the mix, or is it 100% veggies and nothing else-- no salt or pepper or spicers?

For gastritis people who cannot tolerate HCL, she mentioned giving them more nutrients including B12, iron, etc. How to get more iron? It is like any form of iron supplements irritates gastritis. Only eating liver? I've been eating beef liver and I can hardly take it anymore😢
