I have used this with my IBS, SIBO, and GERD patients for years. This simple technique can help alleviate symptoms of bloating, abdominal pain, distention, gas, indigestion, and even acid reflux. And it's really no wonder- diaphragmatic breathing (also known as "belly breathing") is a wonderful tool for toning your vagus nerve. Then, with better vagal tone, you'll be in a better position to digest your food :)
