The Godred lore gets even funnier when you actually look into Godred as a character in the Thomas the Tank Engine lore. He only appears in the Railway Series books, where he’s a cocky prick and derails off the back of a mountain beyond any and all repair. The mountain he derails from is apparently called “Devil’s Back”. So DSAF3 is implying that some psychopath found Godred’s scrapped remains, made an animatronic from them, and somehow either imbued it with the power of Satan or the remains themselves were imbued with the power of Satan from Devil’s Back.
