I remember one of the many in-between versions of FNATI (this game has such a cursed history, it's great) had a variant of Minnie that probably implements one of my favorite uses of audio cues ever I forget which one did this but Minnie's gimmick in it was she would show up in one of the [active] cameras on occasion and you needed to flip through them quickly to find her, but this would bring up the question of how would you know you need to look for her exactly Well, you know how like every FNAF game has some sort of white noise in the background, like the buzz of a fan or a breeze or somethin to that effect? Minnie's presence in the game I'm thinking of is marked by the sudden _absence_ of that white noise entirely, it's surprisingly chilling and effective for such a simple little trick
