Hi Jenny, I sure wish I would’ve been able to see you! I think I was just ahead of you, because I got to the Oconnee State Park ….in the dark that morning. I was one of the lucky ones to get a parking place I guess. I told FreshGrounds I would see him on the morning of day four, but then the storm hit, and I didn’t see anything on the group page that said everyone was leaving. If I had been out there, I would’ve left, as well! I heard a lot of people had soaked down quilts. Uggh! I had a really good time though the rest of the hike, though. I wish you could’ve seen it in better weather, because the views were really incredible, not to mention the waterfalls! I hope you had a great Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too! 💙🐦

Hi Dawn… thanks so much for keeping up with me! I have one or two more videos to post. Finally finished my 3rd round of antibiotics. Chronic pneumonia and a bum ankle. I’ll heal and have adventures planned. As a hiker put it, “Maybe I’m just not able to be uncomfortable, and don’t need to be on the AT!” That really hurt! I’ll be back and continuing sections. Appreciate you following and all of your support. 💙🐦

I was slow and steady trying to deal with my ankle. Just getting through day by day.

Yea… I’ve never had issues with my ankles. Knees… on the other hand were a problem, but didn’t keep my from moving. The ankle.. was a bit of a problem.
