Yay! You made it through the Smokies! Really interesting and rustic hostel! How was sleeping in the treehouse?

I’m so glad to be out of the Smokies! Tough 5-day stretch. The Treehouse had a bed, a roof, and a heater. So I was happy. No room for anything else. Very tiny. Unfortunately, I was the only woman out of many many men, so a bit uncomfortable about that. However, my ankle roll into Davenport Gap was a real downer, but their ice-packs really helped. Maria slacked me in exchange for a couple of my photographs .. so that was really cool that I didn’t have to climb up out of I40.
