If it's 1 vs 1 int he street then yes jiu jitsu all day. But more than 1 opponent and you will pay for going to the ground!

People don’t understand that in other arts like Judo getting a black belt only means you are out of junior varsity and at the bottom of the variety ranks.

That's actually staged. Guy in the sweats is the late great Leandro Lo, and the guy in tank and shorts is Rodolfo Viera LOL!

Boxing is the best discipline for a street fight, period. I'm no professional fighter but been in several scuffles in the street, I'm 6'4" and 260 lbs, everytime somebody tried to man handle me they where demolished, granted they were not trained ofc. One time though a guy who could box(amateur) knocked me down twice and handed me a good dose of whoopass before I finally managed to smother him and hold him against the hood of a car, he was half my size.
@produccionesmbj69144 күн бұрын
If that boxer also knew some BJJ, Judo or wrestling, you probably wouldnt be able to smother and hold him
@ShrimpyWilliams4 күн бұрын
So you, who is untrained, smothered a trained boxer, and for some reason you came to the conclusion that boxing is better in a street fight than grappling? You fight someone who knows how to grapple you turn into a helpless baby, I’m not kidding

And then 5 pf his friends kick the shit out of you while you are on the floor. If you knew a simgle thing about street fights you would advice people to NEVER GO ON THE GROUND !
@leatheryfoot63548 күн бұрын
"I'd just stomp on your head, bro. Jiu Jitsu can't beat concrete."
@Bizul_8 күн бұрын
Doesn't fill me with confidence when there is a concrete floor for anyone to bounce your head off. If it's 1v1, then that's different, but in most situations, it isn't. Judo+MMA would be way better in the street than wresting or jiu jitsu
