Amazing vid as always, and for those who need a translation of his performance coach, because a lot of academic language was used (no slight, just not everyone can digest heavy academic jargon): “So, what we’re really focusing on with this training is getting better at performing without relying on oxygen as much. In a sport like this, you’re going to hit a point where your body isn’t getting enough oxygen, and you can’t produce energy the usual way. You need to be great at keeping up your performance even when your breathing is fast, and there’s a lot of lactate (that burning feeling) building up in your muscles. When that happens, your muscles don’t want to work as well, and it becomes really hard to keep going. So, we’re training to push through that feeling, making sure you stay strong and keep your brain focused, even when your body is screaming to stop. Basically, we’re teaching your body to keep producing power and stay sharp, even when you’re out of breath and tired.”

I went to one of Mason's seminars when he was on his SUG run. I learned so many things that I still use in my rolls today. Very genuine guy. The Mason that you see here, is the same Mason that you see on the mat!
