For having planned these horrible events for weeks, that lunatic sure did a sloppy and unorganized job......thankfully. I think the image at 42:58 tells you everything you need to know about Joel Guy, Jr.

"Perhaps the good thing, the only good thing you can say about it, is that when this humiliation is occuring you're not aware of it. You don't. Everyone else does, but you don't." This hit too close to home, even before the unexpected alzheimer/dementia ending. It is truly an humiliation for someone like them. They turn into babies, totally dependent on other people, to do everything! I only hope my grandfather - that had the same fate - was also not aware of his state when it got to that point. I hope he only remembers the love and attention he got. It was awful (traumatizing even) seeing my grandfather fading away to this terrible disease. Like Omar, he was also strong-willed, a charmer, stubborn but always so gracious. His laugh was SO loud, it filled the room. He was a great vivant and was always the first one to pay for whatever you needed. He didn't want any of his family members to suffer what he had suffered until his late 30s. He did the "immigrant life", and now that he was comfortable, he didn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal and to miss out on being with family. I'm proud of him. I'm proud of being his grand daughter (his first grandchild). Too bad the family ended with him. If not managed by people like him, money only brings the bad in people. But I'll take his life lessons as my inheritance, and I'll pass them along proudly 🤍

OMG! Some of the psychos have all of the luck. Meanwhile, there are women spending decades in prison for defending themselves in fights with known, actual abusers. 🤬

"She did not deserve to die." While that is obviously true, the fact is that people who choose to make enemies for a living are playing with fire. There are lots of mentally unstable people in the world.

It must be scary for anyone that testified against him in court to know he isn’t going away. How sad these 3 young men lost their lives. R.I.P. 🕊️🌹🕊️🌹🕊️🌹. Condolences 💐 to their families, friends and, fellow students for your loss.

I am also a slim woman with low blood pressure. Before I decided in 2016 to follow the (vegan) ketogenic (without sugar/carbs) diet, I used to have regular dizziness episodes. My worst dizziness episode happened when I stood up too quickly from sleep to go to the bathroom. I walked to the toilet and even pulled down my underwear, but at that moment, I started losing consciousness more and more. I had to lie down on the floor, I was trembling, sweating cold, had a loud ringing in my head, and a bright tunnel-like spot in my vision. I didn’t faint, but it was close. I strongly believe that this happened to this lady as well.

If your minor does something like this in Germany, YOU as parents are culpable. Why is this boy in a situation like that in the first place, who let him go there and gave him a firearm?

They supported him all his life, and then cut him off, at 40 never expected him to have a job, to support himself. Then he throws a temper tantrum and kills his money support, in his eyes that's all they were.

So horrific. Also the 2 little boys who found John`s body look so very dirsturbed and helpless sitting on the ground nearby. All 3 of them are guilty, all 3 should have got a life sentence, finally.

43 years and sentenced as a juvenile is wrong so very wrong
@Kari.F.
@Kari.F. Күн бұрын
Why? If someone is a juvenile at the time they commit a crime, they will still have been a juvenile when they committed the crime - no matter how many years go by before they are caught. The sentencing will be harsher for someone who is caught and convicted well into adulthood, for obvious reasons: A 40 or 50 year old can't be sentenced to juvenile detention until he/she becomes a legal adult. THAT would have been an issue for me, because that would have meant no punishment for the crime at all.

I never understand why people just don't get a divorce. As someone who spent 20 months in prison, it's the very last place you ever want to be.

Selfish to take a mother from her children. I mean who cares about you. Go, if you want it to suit you. But there's no reason and there will never be reason enough to take children's mothers from them. I don't understand. Divorce was placed exactly for this reason - you must go if you are not happy instead of killing. Paying your ex wife, isn't the worst of it. Just share and move on in peace. For the children's sake. You can't be broke forever, unless you don't have plans with your "change".

Excellently produced. Regardless if the creep is alive or not, he was a proven crook, obviously. It looks as though that fraud was planned long before QuadrigaCX even existed. It was just a matter of getting the maximum amount of $$$ and crypto deposited before he / they made their exit. It's just a hunch, but I'd bet Jennifer Cotten has a hardware wallet with a large sum of crypto on it.

The journalist, Lisa Wheeler... omg. This is irrelevant to the presented case, but I have to express my delight. She sounds so much like my late, very Southern great aunt -- the tone and quality of her voice, her accent, her turn of phrase. Just wonderful. I used to love listening to thst aunt speak. Miss Lisa sounds so like her.
