This was pretty gruesome to watch. I can't imagine how the cops managed to go through the house and do their jobs ? They will forever be scarred rest of their lives 🙏. It was amazing to see how cold the son is and had no reaction as the verdicts came in. 🙈🙄🤔

I have a friend who was a cop for many years in California. I promise you, he has been scarred by what he saw during his time as a police officer. 😢

Not amazing to me, knowing everything he did that led up to the killing, plus the killing. This guy was not normal.

His parents didn't mentor and prepare him to be responsible at 18. Most parents don't.

I watched this trial,,, he had zero remorse. Seems there’s a lot of this occurring with this generation. Spoiled, entitled, lazy and nothing is enough to satiate their desires. Risky having kids these days…..🐻🐻

" Do we have a crazy psychopath?" Nah, the guy's a blind chef 👨‍🍳. He was trying to cook for his whole family, but instead cooked his previously whole family. Honest mistake, I'm sure.

He was totally spoilt. If you're still in college at 28, you should pay your own way

@26:37mins any idea what she meant by "losing jurors"? is she referring to Jurors quitting? Wouldn't the shocked effect of the jurors work in favour of the Prosecutor if the photos were not redacted?

For having planned these horrible events for weeks, that lunatic sure did a sloppy and unorganized job......thankfully. I think the image at 42:58 tells you everything you need to know about Joel Guy, Jr.

I'm not blaming the guys parents but, in general, if you support and provide a certain lifestyle and basically spoil the kid, you can't just pull the rug out and expect him to just change who he is and go work, it's very scary and shocking to be told " Hey no more money or support." And be surprised when they flip out. No offense but, they created this monster.

Blaming the victims and making excuses for the killer. Sounds like you're the personality type that could do something like this.

There appears to be severe abnormalities in this child who has grown up. That were hidden from the public per se’. Without information ℹ️ his diagnosis prior to murder shows his complex disorders were closeted as the parents did not shame cast upon them as genetically at fault damaged or inferior. If they hid this 28 years that his capacity for self care was only 25% of any other normal human being. The only other logic being they damaged him themselves. Or he was not their biological child whom had an organic mental disease 🦠of Psychosis Psychology Pathology or Neuchemistry. Either way it seems virtually impossible that they were completely unaware. Could have been the product of defective shots prescriptions or medical malpractice. Or biochemical exposures. Or the thin product of a serial rapist murder who impregnates mother abandoning for adoption.

They supported him all his life, and then cut him off, at 40 never expected him to have a job, to support himself. Then he throws a temper tantrum and kills his money support, in his eyes that's all they were.

Way too much going on here, but this to be a simple, simple murder without explanations.
