Ive been on a bit of a KDM sabatical for a few years but with Halloween and Black Friday im diving back into the game again. This was a great stream to listen to (well after black friday) as it reminded me that i needed to check out the lore interview. And genuinely, some of those answers genuinely shocked me. Poots was way more open than i thought, but it also made me very excited for more kdm content regardless of its form to explore those topics further.

38:35 is the Exp gain modified? i was thinking the enemies are giving like 50% less exp for every level higher than them, but you just went from 180 exp to geting none.

38:15 exacly, Monks had the 100 fists skill or something like that, but the skill had like 3h cooldown, it was for 100 sec turning off the next attack delay, so you could do hit after hit, where the delay was the animation alone.

I love the game and the minis here are very cool but damn these prices are totally out of touch with reality. 75 bucks is a price point of a big box board game with hundreds of cards. Even at half price this would be rather overpriced imo. Releases like this are very poor value for money compared to the expansion releases. And because I live in Europe I have to factor in either 25% sales tax if it happens to be available in Europe warehouse or import tax if not, which will be even more and with shipping this is suddenly $120 or more. I guess he can charge these prices because people are willing to pay but I will be boycotting this.

I've had campaigns where I never see a specific terrain card. So it's a bit of a bummer that the extension is tied around the terrain card being drawn in a showdown.

Got what I wanted for the most part. 15 year survivors was an easy grab. Couldn't pass up a half price Glow since I was close to pulling the trigger on it at full price. Then added Willow and Beyond the Wall along with the blackout, black friday, and fall dice. Then, with the Backerkit opening again, I pre ordered Screaming God, Red Witches and Pariah. Almost pulled the trigger on Titan Bee but held off, mostly hoping CoD will be up next, like was mentioned in the last update, which I already have ordered. Otherwise, I just hope they open preorders for it, like he did with Black Knight. Figure the only reason he didn't open preorders for the next three is that Black Friday was going to hit first anyway.

Got my own 15th anniversary and Glow as well as lion god the other day. waiting on a few female survivors to show up myself, as well as the terrain whenever that happens.

Always love these videos. It makes me laugh to hear two people who both want to really really be the most technically right about something that I love “well actually” each other over and over.

As someone who grew up playing Warhammer Quest in the 90s, Massive Darkness 2 is a great game particularly for its strengths which are One-Shot Dungeons. Most dungeon crawlers are either little to no character improvement (D&D Adventure Game series) or slow-grow improvement like playing regular D&D, but Massive Darkness 2's strength is that you get a satisfying adventure with huge character improvements by the end of the quest, going from Zero to Hero in the span of a single dungeon - no other game does this and it is very satisfying. As for old Warhammer Quest, I replaced mine with Shadows of Brimstone which is an amazing long campaign game.

I have noticed that Fade has not been around for a very long time. I'm thinking that Fade with her cards (hunt card and sword of silence) or just her cards, will be in the red witches expansion.

I don't play KDM, but I picked up Willow because she was a great looking model and perfect opportunity to learn NMM

I somehow got my hands on the indomitable bundle despite them initially seeming to be sold out when i first checked. 12hrs later I checked again and got it! What an absolutely insane deal for people like me that would find it hard to justify buying each at full price + shipping normally. Saved heaps. Wish I got the survivor bundle too but I was at least able to also grab 15yr + glow.awesome bf sale this year.

Thanks for this. Can you briefly, if you don't mind, tell me what those are about and what's the difference in game: - White box Survivors (how do they differ from the original survivors?) - Legendary characters (like Glow and Lantern Armor Aya) - Saviors (like Morgan) - Messengers. If it's too much to ask, nevermind. The constantly growing number of concepts becomes a bit confusing over time. Take care.

I hope they do a bundle next year with all the first set of expansions as someone that picked up Core+GC. It would be awesome to pickup a bunch of expansions in a bundle vs individual.

Pissed that UK warehouse has sold out of the Showdown Board .. when other warehouses have 30+ still in stock. It was the first thing I wanted to put in my basket. 🤨 But I was pleasantly surprised to see the 15th anniversary survivors were available.

Great insights as always Bra 👍 I grabbed myself a Lantern Armour Aya, Survivors of Death 1 and Willow. 15 Year Anniversary Survivors are great but I’ll see if they go on sale another time 👌🏼 From Backerkit I added Red Witches, Ultimate Terrain, First Hero and Screaming God. I was never a fan of the Lion God expansion as it was completely unfinished and didn’t fit the game in my opinion, then I read the massive Silver City update and yep, going back to add Silver City via Backerkit 😂😂😂 Thanks again and May you always roll Lanterns.

So sad. Wanted to jump into game with Monster (core) box and after about 3hours from start of black friday (at 3am on friday) it was sold out in EU. Waited so long for black friday and now i can wait another year :( Hate that and dont know why they have so few pieces of the game boxes

I ummmed and ahhhed over backing anything on backerkit but the undetermined wait time isn't worth it over chance to get some missing expansions for me so I got dung beetle knight, flower knight and card pack while it was cheap.
