Hi, I know I am insanely late, this works as good in Vegas Pro, but what I wanted to ask is how I can put the effect only on one part of a video, like an image in the foreground, leaving the background untouched? Example: Glitch Layer 1 Glitch Layer 2 (image copy) Glitch Layer 3 (image) Background < don't want this affected by the glitch effect

When i set to max velocity Vegas creates subclips and instead of ramping the speed of this clip it creates more clips and its speeds them why this is happening?

It's basically turning off all options that speedup the preview to avoid crash, a solution indeed but it's a shame to have to do that.

1:16 When I use the slider on my Video Event FX tab it doesn't move the preview slider on my other tab like yours is doing. It's making it difficult to tell where to mask at each given frame. Is there a way to troubleshoot this? I'm not event sure how to ask this question without referencing this specific moment in your video.

I needed to make one end of a clip without transparency and kept wondering what I did wrong (and finding the quick time plugin within the options-preferences-depreciated features). When I saw the part where you said "import the video again" and then change the alpha channel is where it FINALLY clicked for me what I was doing wrong. Thank you again for this awesome tutorial.

Not switching. I've got 4 legit paid for Vegas Movie Studio licenses (keys) for life, for up to 8 installs. I actually only need 1 or 2. Why would I switch? I think Premiere Pro has some bizarre monthly or yearly subscription model, where you pay and pay and pay? No thanks.
