I’m super excited for 2020! I’m planning to create amazing content for you guys! Not just interesting editing tutorials but also things like business and productivity advices that will help you become a better version of yourself! Btw. how do you like the new like, subscribe and bell animation at the end? I think it looks gorgeous! Also, at 2:03 I said „hold down the „ALT“ key on your Mac keyboard“ this only applies to older Apple devices, on the new ones it’s the „option“ key.

I'm still glad you took the time to write this awesome comment though! I really do appreciate that! If you are interested I also made a VEGAS Pro version of this tutorial back in the days. I guess i love premiere more then vegas now. I kinda fell in love with it few months ago
@theletterisb5 жыл бұрын
Haha, that's awesome Divil! Check out my responds to ESC FINN's comment why I switched from VEGAS Pro to Premiere. This might be interesting. Also, I do appreciate that you took that time of your day to write this short but sweet comment. It really means the world to me. A lot of people say they appreciate their viewers but do not truly mean it. I'm the opposite, I really try to answer every comment because I'm happy to help people out and see how much they appreciate it. So once again, thanks a lot for your support!

Are we able to do this with vegas pro14.0?
@theletterisb4 жыл бұрын
Of course. This is a super simple effect I already showcased in VEGAS Pro. You could create this effect in Sony Vegas 7, simply because you don't need any additional plugins.

Is Premiere Pro a good cutting software to change, if you used Vegas about 1 year?
@BMgreekyoutuber5 жыл бұрын
I used vegas for 3 years and was proficient with it but last year I switched to premiere pro. It is a better program and my computer for some reason didn't lag so much. Your life becomes better with premiere
@theletterisb5 жыл бұрын
Definitely, here's the reason why. I've been a long time VEGAS Pro user myself. The oldest version I have been working with was Sony Vegas 7, and it's been perfect. But something super annoying happend over the years. With each software update VEGAS Pro got worse. Of course they were some good updates as well but the two biggest issues I have with the newest versions, is simply that they have to many crashing issues, especially with bigger timelines that they didn't have before. And the lack of important updates regarding to essential features. We don't get any new transition effects, we don't get a optimized color grading tool (just compare the current one with the one from Premiere Pro and you will see the difference instantly) and we don't get proper motion tracking. The bezier mask tracking isn't to good in my opinion if you compare it to the tracking tool of After Effects. And we can not add good looking motion blur. VEGAS Pro is a good editing software when it comes to editing in general and I love to work with the velocity! That's definitely something that VEGAS Pro handles a lot better then Premiere, and even though VEGAS Pro will always have a place in my heart the switch was necessary. I want to work with bigger clients and need perfect optimization regarding to 4k editing, rendering as well as handling different types of files in general. That's another reason I switched.

@@theletterisb Bobby ... now you really make me think about changing too. I'm only 13, and love editing videos. For me Vegas has been great and stable. My dad bought me a dedicated PC only for video editing. it's not even connected to internet! Reading your comment it looks like Premiere is the way to go. . All I need to do now is convince my dad to by me Premiere..... DAD... Are your reading this :-) by the way. Bobby. You are one of my editing teachers. almost everything I know about editing in vegas came from you!

Love using velocity too much on Sony Vegas,I only use after effects for motion tracking and texts effects :) btw will you make tutorial on after effects?
@theletterisb5 жыл бұрын
Hey there Tropy! I loved working with the velocity in VEGAS Pro too! Maybe it's worth to check out my comment answer to ESC FINN's question under this video. Regarding your question, I will definitely make some After Effects tutorials as well! I think I can share some great tips here and there. Also with VEGAS Pro as your starting background you will get even faster used to work with After Effects! Thanks for you kind comment. Stay tuned for more awesome content!
