This looked really awesome but I am on Version 15.1.1 and it doesn't give me the options for adding an audio device. I bought blackhole (which is $10 requested donation now) and it shows up as an option as a virtual device but no where does it give me the option of selecting multiple devices like you did. Any suggestions. I like your style and how thorough you are. I subscribed. Looking forward to checking what other great tips you have! Thanks for any help you can give on this!

I use my Powerbeats Pro as my recording headphones, but also for everyday music and listening. When I'm finished recording with them, what steps on my mac should I take to ensure they're set back to normal and my computer is able to play and adjust audio from the speakers?

using bluetooth headphones. not working. not working with the Speakers (For Recording) either. Quicktime says "QuickTime Player encountered an error while recording your screen." also, no speaker icon pops up in the menu bar

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can finally screen-record. It took me a while to figure it out because my headphones kept showing up as built-in output, not External Headphones. After much googling, I discovered that "the operating system generally considers the headphone jack to be part of the computer's integrated audio system, meaning it's simply another output option from the 'built-in' audio hardware, not a separate device". So I went ahead and tried screen recording, and it worked! 🙏

This does not work if you use a Macbook that is in a docking station and you have external speakers and are not using the built in speakers.
