I remember finally breaking the 22-minute barrier on warpless as a kid and thinking I was one of the best players in the world. And for the 1990s, maybe I was. But 18:54 is not a time I ever imagined was possible. Absolutely insane run, congrats on the WR.

I do have to ask, for 4-2 where you go through a pipe instead of the beanstalk and 8-4 where you went in the pipe before the lava to get to the water area compared to the pipe after the lava. How was this done as this probably would not work for me? Thanks.

@@kdawg7736 these are both wrong warps. for 4-2 i move mario’s on screen x-position just far enough so that it tricks the game into bringing me to the warpzone instead of the coin cash area. in 8-4, i scroll the screen just far enough to take me to the water section then go back down the previous pipe

ok, listen up. this run is obviously real. yet somehow in the comments I see people saying “oh this run is fake”. and yet I notice a pattern about all the hate comments, a few joined a very long time ago. literally 17 years ago (2007), some 11 years ago, some 7, some 3. Yet, they also seem to have a lot of the same mannerisms, such as saying “i got the world record back when the game was release off camera”. now i’m wondering, did people hack these channel to post hate comments and rage-bait to get replies?
