Im sorra new to car audio like 3 months. Why is there not a slope anplified tuning version or somwrhing like maybe 12db at normal to 36db at top ans 12db to normal

I would disagree. You get to compare the ability of an amp to another amp, as well as weed out blatantly poor amps. Ridiculously low ohm load? Most spl guys are running low ohm loads. Many people outside the pure sq world often run 1 ohm loads. Outside of impedence rise, the amp dyno can give you an idea of whether an amp is compatible with your hardware. There's no reason to believe that an amp wouldn't continuously output the same power as it does on the dyno. Mechanically, auto electrical ability aside, there's no reason to believe that an amp wouldn't continue to output that same power in your car. So not sure what the point of this video is

Best to me is Fi Car Audio because I love SQL. As for mids and highs, I like Japanese SQ speakers but willing to try European SQ speakers too.

I like SQL, 2 15s in a 32Hz ported enclosure at 4000wrms, and solid SQ speakers. My Sony mobile ES mids and highs can keep up with a lot of bass

I feel what matters more than the amp is the dac in your headunit. Having a high quality format being sent to your speakers matters more than a expensive vs cheap amplifier.

Everyday for one sub, whatever a Z or NS costs. I’d do that for one sub. Max id do for a daily of two 15s. In a truck with four 8”s, I’d do $500 to $600 per. Only so much air they can move in the limited space.

A 4th order bandoass enclosure consists of a ported snd a sealed chamber that iperates on a narrow passband while a bass reflex enclosure is only a ported enclosure that can operate at a much wider variety of frequencies they are much easier to build, tune and can be easilyy understood by even beginners. So that why people say your an idiot because just because a bass reflex has a characteristic that happens to have 4 orders of rolloff that doesnt mean its a 4th order. Dang. My second car was a 1989 Ford Festiva, and I took the rear seats out and built a stereo in it. I got the car for $800. It was nowhere near this guy's system, but it was a start. I used to have those same Revel Be tweeters in my home hifi speakers. (I currently have some JBL's with Be Super tweeters in them) I sell hifi for a living including Harman Luxury brands, but it's always cool to see what the car audio guys are coming up with. I bet this sounds amazing. I'm considering getting back into it and doing an SQ build in my regular cab Silverado now.

just stumbled on this video..I met him a few months ago in Jakarta..he was doing a small presentation about this car. And got to ask him a few tuning tips...he gave clues that changed the way i tune. Really an ear opening experience...btw, he does have a dsp specially made for this kind of setup.... Installed one for a very satisfied customer, which ordered another set on the spot. I don't know what to believe when it comes to anything audio other than my own ears. It makes it very hard to buy anything new because Idk what to expect. Ive had amps that i expected to be good suck and amps i thought would be meh turn out to be excellent!

Sorry, but you have no idea what to listen for. The difference is not in distortion levels, the difference is the attack, sustain, and duration of notes, as well as the amount of room ambience between each of the notes 😊 Class D sounds like the notes come on too quickly and shut off too abruptly. The hang time that a good class A amplifier reveals is gone. The reverberations from a piano for instance can take many, many seconds ( 30 to one full minute) if the piano’s petals are in the right position. Class D shuts off the sound so abruptly, it masks the lifelike details that add to the illusion of something sounding true to life. If you can’t hear that then you haven’t heard a good reference, because the differences can be very dramatic. Not all Class A topology amplifiers sound or preform the same. Some provide the illusion of more 3 dimensional holographic imaging where each instrument takes up more space in three dimensions on the sound stage. While others do provide layering, but the instruments themselves appear to stem from a more two dimensional location on said sound stage. So before you keep spreading misinformation, consider reevaluating your reference. P.S. inexpensive speakers can still reveal differences in the qualities aforementioned that amplifier swaps will differentiate. 🎉

Box is super important. Get yourself a box with different tunings and jl w7 12. It will sound completely different in different boxes. You sound like you never experimented that by yourself.

I always turn it down at red lights. I don’t think people like the bass. Not all, but most don’t like it. I live in the city though so residential consists of apartment complexes and these are city folks who are used to the noise. Intent is the main part yes! You gotta hear it sometime, and if your driving is all done in town mostly what do ya do right? Bassheads are obnoxious we know it and I didn’t spend ten grand on my stereo to not hear it lol sorry if we bothered y’all though really am!

I drove a 95 Geo metro and my friends liked the snare on Ice Cube's rap song because the speakers are so close to you. I put 2 way component speakers in the doors but the head rest speakers are the best for stereo separation. My audiobahn 1208q has been in operation since 2003 and the best car is the Volt because it is a hatch back with a 600 amp alternator and 10,000 watt lithium ion battery. I still like the Geo Metro because I got 55 mpg and I felt great spray painting it. I got a 2012 Cruze which also sounds amazing but the Volt's electrical system is stronger and the engine noise is gone unless you want to run the alternator which increases the capability further. I am only running Jensen 900.1 but it pushes the limit of car electricy dynamics.
