ive been thinking about what pistol to buy next and the p226 with extended mags is starting to sound really temping. the other options i was thinking of are the ruger sp101 or the ruger sr1911. i know the 1911 would have more stopping power, but with a max of like 10 rounds with an extended mag (?) id almost rather have 20 round extended mags for carrying and home defense on the p226? also the 226 just looks cool overall

Unless you’re shooting corrosive ammo this is overkill cleaning. A little carbon on metal helps create a protective layer during use. Ok if you’re going to store the gun- sure I can see cleaning it.

I don't know why it never occurred to me that the trigger pull on the Glock is the same from the first shot to the last shot. I've never minded DA/SA. I grew up on the Beretta M9 and have no issue thumbing the hammer to avoid that first long pull. Thanks!! Great video. Bottom line. Get both.

why wouldn't you put a light oil coating in your barrel? It's even manufacturer recommended. Everything else was good besides that.
