Redshift is insanely unstable, my dual 4090s freeze every 20 minutes-crazy for the subscription price. Now I work more in Blender, even though the subscription is extremely expensive, at least it doesn’t crash all the time.

It's amazing how studios, companies, corporations, express tributes to artists, achivements, legacies, future ... that match heart beats, Pixar, Disney and others have visible examples, sometimes those tributes are hidden, exposed in cryptic forms to be seen and received by those who can decrypt them, those who know their meanning: "Crunch Time" by "Something's Awry Productions" brings several hidden messages, Maxon is a leadding company joinning that touching trend. The cookies are served! That those flames enlighten forever >:) Just amazing 🙃

Cinema 4D is great, but any use or instance of Redshift is so incredibly unstable that paying as much as you charge for the subscription should be a crime. Its been this way for years on my dual GPU 4090 FE setup. It isnt' my rig. I have no idea how others tolerate it, but its freeze, lag, and crash city all the time. Used to love C4D. Now it is unusable.

Dears!!! these videos are amazing ... but ... I noted an issue on the second exercise (where we have the cylinders rolling down using a material with the FLAKES BEND) ... The problem is that my wheels do not turn on their own axis but slide on the waves without rolling. If I don't apply the material, they roll, but with the material applied, they no longer rotate. I don't know if I explained myself 🙂 The full simulation is not seen in the video. The doubt I ask myself is: am I the one who is doing something wrong or this detail has escaped you too. In case you missed it too, the question is: how do I make sure that the rotation of the wheels takes place correctly even with the applied material? 😀 I downloaded the exercise files .. but this example/exercise is not present in the scenes downloaded

21:05 - Texture coordinates are typically measured from the Upper Left corner with Y+ values actually going *down* the image. (I think) UVs are typically stored in those same coordinates, but the numbers are flipped in all of the C4D Editors to make them more intuitive to work with. This creates a bit of confusion in Nodes as those are reading the unflipped internal data. XY -> UV = (X, 1.0 - Y)
@eyefisher28 күн бұрын
I'm excited about this. I love nodes and I love particles. I made the mistake of going the perpetual route with X-particles and can't afford to upgrade right now, so for me it's keep using Cinema 4D 2024 with X-Particles or use the latest Cinema 4D and learn all the ins and outs of the particle system.
