If it’s a torque monster why does it have the worst tow rating of any full size truck?
@jeremsgarage14 күн бұрын
So, that is a really good point. I’ll make a video on that topic. The short of it is, 9,200 lbs of tow rating is fully usable, even with most of the seats in the cab full. The 13,000 lb tow ratings that you will see are mostly impractical. The tongue weights on a 13,000 lb trailer can be upwards of 1,700 lbs, which is very much pushing the limits on the factory receiver. The Tubomax has 430 lbs ft of torque. That’s more than my old F50 with a V10. This one I own is the pre refresh 2.7l and has about 350 ish, but it’s right off idle and moves my 9000 lb travel trailer effortlessly…I stand by my statement. It’s a torque monster.
