What comes to mind for me is reddit.....that place is a 2.7L toxic wasteland.....from people that have never stepped into the 2.7. I can share my experience with the 5.3s though.

Interesting video about the GM 2.7L L3B engine. Proof is in the pudding about these engines with the testimony of real world owners like yourself. You are so right. Some people just try to tear up stuff for whatever strange reason. Like that ole saying: “Everyone ages but not everybody matures.”

Yes, Jerrem we spoke be fore about weight issues towing camper, made some adjustments with loading toy hauler and this last travel to Alabama was so much better hauling, took your advice tire pressure and the. Such truck ran great from Florida to Bama was thoroughly thoroughly impressed with pull still had weight warning come up at first but went away pulled beautifully, thank you. And yes everything you said is SO true, take care of vehicles. I have more problems with RV manufacturers (forest river) third one first one was used no problems 2nd one where do I start, this one same we have a list of warranty failures. Sucks. The internet is useful and a whole lot of fun but I believe life was better before the internet and more especially smartphones. The world would be a vastly more conservative place without it and that would have been a good thing. I've been an Ecoboost fan since 2013(owned a few GMs and RAMs in that period too)and never had any problems with any of them. Lots of vibration issues with the GM trucks and cam and lifters with one RAM truck. Haven't bought a new GM truck since 2014 mostly because they haven't updated their V8s.

Not chevy related but the folk I personally know that bought the new ram.3.0 hurricane is not happy. One blew oil all over even got on windshield. Other had a weird low oil pressure issue. ( while towing a 5k trailer)

Hey man, I keep up with all your videos. You do great contents. I have a Chevy Silverado 2.7 2023 and the transmission is horrible. The shifting it makes my truck jerk when driving when slowing down do you have any of those problems I took it to the dealer and they said they don’t know what’s going on. Literally my truck jumps horrible when the gears shift even when I’m driving on the expressway.

Oh man… They revised the 8 speed transmission for 2024. Supposedly it is the start of the 2nd generation. One of the changes is that there is an electric purge pump to prepare the transmission before starting the truck.
