I think the comparison is fair because at the end of the day, the purpose of a map is to provide a fun and engaging experience, regardless of the source. If I were choosing between two meals, one made by a chef with a full kitchen and another by someone with just a camping stove, I’d base my choice on how the food tastes, not on the equipment used. Likewise with rf maps, I'm looking for the best overall experience. That said, I do appreciate the creativity and skill it takes to work within the constraints of the in-game editor, and I think there are plenty of maps made with it that are excellent (Of recent memory: Hoover Dam, Rail City, Helmand). As for my methodology, I agree its not great in this video. By the end I didn't find anything that was really worth showing, or crowning as some rare find. It's a fair critique though and in retrospect I'd like to have done this differently, but yeah a main part of that was burning out on the topic. This is something I plan to fix/expand in a part 3 when I get to it. Also, could you explain your issue with Sudo? I'm not familiar with any controversies

@nolberggg had commissioned a weapon mod from sudo which was intended to be publically released on the workshop. The disintagrator ray from destroy all humans. When the mod was complete and ready to be uploaded he never uploaded it and didn’t respond to my messages.

Yes most of my videos will be pretty modded, I don’t think I really use anything vanilla any more lol. The rf experience can vary pretty significantly from person to person, which I think makes the game better!

@@nolberggg Yeah I watched another vid after that and saw the body cam mod. Unfortunately it wasn't working for me. Does it still work for you? I honestly feel like I want to refund the game if I can't get that one working, even though it is pretty fun without it. But it's just not the vision I had.

ngl I think the price is a little high, especially just for the base game, but with the steam workshop content, Ravenfield is an absolute goldmine. I’d say it’s definitely worth it if the game looks like your thing!

Hey! Yes I do use reshade sometimes, mainly using uncappedraven’s presets. I think I use most of them buy primarily the hoider and cinematic ones. If you need specific I can check!

Pretty valid question since a LOT of old mods are buggy or broken. That said, Sofa keeps all of his stuff updated or will specifically clarify if the mod isn’t working / Legacy. Everything Vanilla+ should be good!
