hello im so confused with poshmark right now im very new to this as in i just started today listing stuff and a buyer asked me to sent them the pictures directly towards email because they couldn’t view the image well i thought his was an innocent question and so i did and they said that they already paid and that I should’ve received an email asking to confirm the purchase were its asking for my billing information and card information and i understand that’s really suspicious but again im new to poshmark so im not sure if that is really how selling items work or not so if you could please do a quick run down and how i would know when someone’s purchased my item id be very grateful 🙏

yeah i watch a lot of JTC unboxings videos and people get the same kind of items with about same value with the boxes with pictures as they do with the mystery boxes. you just pay a bit more for the ones with pictures from what i can see. i am gonna order a mystery box.

It actually hasn’t done too bad. I’ve sold 7 pieces so far and I haven’t listed all of them. Sometimes it’s surprising what can sell. The green vneck (Green Envelope) tops went the quickest.

On some of your smaller sizes, basics bundle them that way buyers feel there getting more for their buck... love your last two items.

I’m extremely frustrated with shopgoodwill because the jewelry boxes have been getting SUPER high lately…like over $200!! No Way! I used to get boxes for like $40 or less. I’ve never bought clothes or shoes from shopgoodwill.

guys if this ever happens to you don’t do it!!! its a scam!!! I was very hesitant and contacted poshmark they said basically it was a scam good thing I didn’t send any money 😅😅😭OMG imagine??!! 😭

I wouldn't have accepted the credit. Why??? 1) It's an insult, didn't match the value what you were missing and now you will only get it if you buy again. So, they are making sure you by again. I would never give my business to a company who can't own up to their mistake and resolve it fairly.

Nice job! I was always a little nervous with the mystery boxes but I realize that the sellers would probably not want to ruin a buyer relationship so they would probably put some good pieces in the mystery box. Keep up the great work!

Hi! I’m a new reseller mostly selling on poshmark and mercari . I only intend on staying part time for now I have a full-time job. Im currently keeping track of inventory, receipts, supplies except for mileage do you recommend getting started with a sole propiertorship? thanks!

Yes, sole proprietorship would be completely fine. I think many resellers operate that way. I have an LLC but that's because it was already created for my boutique. And then when I became a reseller, I created a DBA for Love Inspired Tags under it. However, I will tell you that I am not highly knowledgable on the ins and outs of it as my husband takes care of the backend of my business. I just know basics. Welcome to the reseller world! It's a rollercoaster, but what business isn't? lol. Once you get your sea legs on PM and Mercari, definitely venture over to eBay and try it out, too. If you need any help, feel free to reach out! :)

This tip is so helpful to people. I have had sales "In Process" for over a year. Since I never checked I didn't know. I found out about it myself last Christmas and now I make it a habit to check on months end at the same time I balance my books.
