I'm not complaining, but every single time that digital transition noise played even if I was watching the video actively, it would always scare the shit out of me.

This is really a bad video. No examples, no solutions, you are just listing problems. Every new rapper who watches the video is going to be more confused. You are not talking about voice control, you are talking about placebo effects and nothing objectives. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU WANT TO MAKE A SHORT VIDEO INTO A 15MIN. JUST BAD! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I Know How To Free Style But I’M NOT A Rapper to Rap ON Stage and I Can Spit Bars Like You Don’t Know ME Though But You Know That I Know How To Rap The Way I Already Know How To Spit and Talk Fast and That’s That Period .❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊🎉😂

Also, sing about stories that actually have happened to yourself / that you have been apart of. True storys lead to a better singing voice because you can deliver them with that much confidence.

I have the opposite problem. Unless I'm making a conscious effort not to, I sound too much like Eminem (especially because I'm such an autistic rhyme nerd), and I find it annoying. I'm naturally a baritone, but the nasal voice can more easily get louder and faster while conserving more air, and it's just where my voice goes habitually when my energy is up. People think I'm trying to sound like Eminem, but I'm not even a fan of his and I'm actively trying not to sound like him, so every time I get that comparison, even if it's meant as a compliment, I just want to slam my head into something and never rap again. And I've given up on having a "career". I just want to make unique music.

Thanks. I juste don’t like my voice, I record like 70-80 or more takes just to find the good tone and I still don’t like, I’m like « mh okay enough ». I am now focused and mixing than rapping but I really love to rap, and just because of my voice tone I just don’t want to. So your words are necessary

Holy, That’s actually genius. Ima use that. I do most of my writing on my phone, because it’s hard to have a pen and paper around at all times. I have an app that counts syllables and tracks rhymes and gives words that rhyme. Sure, it’s kind of cheating, but it’s actually been really helpful because it’s expanded my vocabulary in general conversation and so I can just get the flow in my head. It just helps me revise and things. It’s not AI or anything, it’s just a faster thesaurus. I look up definitions all the time, and I am pretty good at remembering word meanings. If you want the app, it’s called Rhymers block. It has ads, but not many, and it makes it easy to make poems and songs public on, like it has an open library where you can look at things people write, if you want. You don’t have to publish, it’s optional. I highly recommend it as it helped me get past the phase where you just can’t rhyme.

Totally relate to this video! I jumped into rapping without overthinking, just going with the flow. If I waited to perfect everything, I’d probably never start. Sometimes it’s about putting yourself out there and learning as you go. Appreciate the insights-it’s got me reflecting on my journey so far!

3:14 this is crazy because I naturally did this when writing underline or bold text or ephasize time to inflect my voice this way for this hook or verse. Thanks for confirming I was going the right direction

I've been writing for a long time & overtime developed a whole complex system. forward slashes, back slashes, "..."s, dashes that have different meaning depending on length & & position, the placement of the words on the paper & how it relates to the measure/timing in the music (so I could theoretically remember the flow just by the way it's written) my advice is write like no one else will ever see it.
