When I started freestyling I had no idea what rhyme games were but I knew what tongue twisters were and I knew I could use any object to start a rhyme pattern. Over time I learned to incorporate the 8 mile rule also never heard of it but it is a technique I often spend a lot of time trying to intentionalize in private. I have been able to rap over 2-3 min beats w coherence and vocality. I do get the mental library dwindling often especially after shuffling through a couple of instrumentals. I sometimes use the fourth wall literary technique where I challenge the story I’m telling by asking questions and responding hope this helps anyone on the journey of learning how to rap

I'm 19 years old from SA🇿🇦❤ and I've been writing music since I was in primary/middle school and that's about 9 years of writing, I had friends that couldn't write music but found freestyling simpler and yet I found writing easier than freestyling and I want to learn how to master the art of freestyling because I know it will elevate the skills i already have in writing music ❤ thanks to this video I have a starting point❤️🇿🇦

i used to think i just "wasn't the kind of person who could freestyle," like my brain just wasn't wired that way. turns out, by posting one short ~30 sec freestyle a week, i've gotten much better over the span of four ish months, not just at freestyling, but writing lyrics in general. plus there's no feeling like flowing

Ive been free styling for years just in front of my homies and in the room by myself.I didn’t start off the best but I gotten better. When I hopped on a stage an did it in front of people I didn’t know about two week ago it was the best experience because I got to show all the years of hard work and freestyles off the top that had the crowd going crazy . Thanks for these tips because when you know what your doing you feel like a different beast!

Been freestyling since middle school and ain't really start tryna spit nice until highschool when a couple friends knew of my abilities. Ever since then I learned a few of the techniques mentioned on my own, but really watched the video to pickup on any other strategies I could utilize. Not tryna be conceited or anything because there is plenty of room for improvement, and my favorite technique is visualization.... Usually I'll see pictures and get going or say just any phrase and rhyme with the last word I said 💯💯💯 thanks for the information brother

I can THINK rhymes all the time, but ADHD i think makes it to where i gotta be away from all distractions when writing. I can rhyme throwaway bullshit around Coworkers and whatnot, but serious shit i gotta be away with my concentration. I've put things off for years because i was getting bullshit out of life. Here i come though

I really enjoyed this video since I came to alot of these conclusions on my own just researching rap in general and they summed it up perfectly. I have a whole instrumental playlist with different type beats I like to experiment with. I feel like I go back an forth between flows now that I am getting closer to actually recording. This video is most def a valuable tool for beginners.

My basic workday starts with darkness and everytime i'm opening that heartless mind of mine, no one is fighting by my side, always alone no one fights for loniless, i'm so hopeless.. Also very depressed, thinking that I would need someone to my side but it's so hard to beat the time wich is needed, maybe I need to dive more deep with weed, future is generated randomly and I am falling for it slowly.. Now there is no one who I could share this with, maybe this will stay last part of me.. You never know what could happen when you lose control of your mind, maybe that's the thing we need to do before we are gone, but I'm only guessing we are always going to be seperated. You cannot connect to thing that's already broken, I hope there would be a path to find a route away from my mind so I wouldn't need to think this dark, only thing is that god is not leading me to the right path. This typing feels so dark but also some clueless way smart, you decide what you want to do but I hope you understand my words (also remember to take notes) since you've seen this I am so far away from everything You can't never know what would happen if you lose control, it's dangerous thing to do but there is no other option other than dying for this slowly, never knowing wich day it would happen and mindset is already set for that... My only mission now is to get this note done before i'm long gone, only god could save me at this point of my failure, some braincells left so I migh't not be so hopeless.. Things getting better my feelings could never left me, I don't know how this has happened to me but it could maybe be just the way that I don't maybe belong anywhere, like it has always been. I've put all my effort to this note and I hope everyone who sees this gives some respect to this text because this is will be the only one. I don't want help, I don't want to learn anymore because it feels so wrong, when I was yunger I got bullied and it's affected me worst way possible, I don't know why I am always been the singled out as target for negative attention. I really hoped that someone just told me the reason for that but that's never happened and it will always going to be that way.
