I've been in love with fountain pens since childhood in the 1960s when most people didn't use them anymore yet one could still buy attractive "Wearever" ones at the dime store! Recently I bought a beautiful Jinhao clear pen but having mainly older pens, did not know how to use the converter. Dema filled in the missing instruction manual beautifully, for which my sincere thanks! I'm also fascinated by his accent which I would think has E. European roots? Thank you again.

I bought this for my friend for his birthday as we just moved into a new house and he finally has room for a workshop. The bench was very easy to set up kzbin.infoUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh They center support is a little difficult to snap in and out of place at first but at least then we know the bench is secure. It was a pleasant surprise when we saw it came with clamps. I apparently missed that in the description. My friend loves the versatility of the bench. Great starter bench for his workshop and easily transportable all over our property. I wish the bench was a little taller but the other features of the bench more than make up for that.

Good video and very creative however I don't see how this is much of an improvement over the clamp from the beginning. I Moxon vise is what you need.

I read about this a while back, finally tried it today on Plywood. It did work well, for light marks not so bad but I made a sample with heaver marks and could not remove the pencil marks. I will use it for light marks on my plywood projects and sand after. I generally use OSMO finish and also wonder if the acetone may cause issues later when I finish my piece. Will find out soon enough.

I am working on an end grain cutting board, I have tried sanding with 40, 100, and 220 grits, an eraser, acetone, DNA, scrubbing with a tooth brush and baking soda. And I am still unable to remove the pencil mark from my piece. Any advice???

Had a Laguna 3hp. Unit was a POS. Never again. Always lost suction, would bypass the filter and throw chips in the fine particle bin. All around shitty machine. Also had a Laguna jointer and same thing. I have a feeling the company is just churning out product relying on their name. Lessons learned.

What are the holes for, on the bottom of the vice, on the plank perpendicular to it, that slides through the bench leg?

Your video certainly shows that your collecting a lot of the dust. And it doesn't look very hard to make - but where does the curved plexiglass/acrylic come from? It also looks as if it would get in the way making bowels?
@DemasShopforEverything Жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s not 100% but it does best when sanding. The curved plexus was heater in an over and molded over a curved mold

Beautiful work. One thing I'm wondering is how you got rid of the screw holes in the end.
@DemasShopforEverything2 жыл бұрын
Fill them in, or make the top longer and then cut the ends off enough to remove the screw holes. I didn’t think of that until after :)

Well Dema, to commiserate and thank you for putting this and the previous video up, I've got this exact same DC, and replaced the remote control twice, and recently the motor is failing, so, sorry for your troubles, but thanks for letting me know I'm not alone in motor issues with this machine. Sigh....
