After replaying F-Zero GX... I finally beaten the V-H level... Oof... To ease things up, I had to take out Black Shadow at the start and then Blood Falcon later on. I was lucky and took him out kinda early in the race... Then the rest, Michael Chain, Pico, and Samurai Goroh, can attack you if you're too close. Once the boost is up, I just boost before falling at the edge for a second or two advantage... Keep my boost for the 2nd half of the turn... Funny thing... It took me less time at my day to beat Chapter 7 then Chapter 8... Oops... I killed Black Shadow and Blood Falcon... Was a bit more easy...

After replaying on F-Zero GX, after an hour of retries... Finally, this SOB got his ass-beat...!

hopefully they add more characters to F-Zero 99 making the battle of women possible in that game as well in the private lobby's

Space Angler seems better than White Cat. At least on bumpy tracks where lighter weight is an advantage.

I swear there were also stat differences between the two forms (I always felt Devil form was stiffer to handle)

The poor traction makes this machine feel lighter when being battled by other machines on the course. It weighs two tons but it's easily knocked off course by other machines.

One quirk of this machine I noticed is that it drifts REALLY fast. Maybe it’s because I’m using a RetroFighters BladeGC now, but this thing rockets off to the side when you touch the triggers. I suppose that contributes to its excellent cornering, but that does make it a tad twitchy. But man, this machine looks awesome.

Nice video. I'm having so much trouble with the death race portions of survival; they always sink my run. Any tips on what the best way to attack other racers is?

I recently tried using Wonder Wasp on novice and surprisingly I loved it. It even handled Serial Gaps pretty well (along with White Cat) and its boost is criminally underrated. But the icing on the cake for me was that in the interview John Tanaka says he BUILT IT HIMSELF. That puts it in a special place in my heart.

Hyper Speeder used to be my go to machine. I still like it, but Crazy Bear is my new F-Zero number one.

This game and mission was the first time I "locked in" in a video game.

I thought Anchor and Red Bull were great secrets, but learning there is a second Blue Falcon... man, climax lives up to its name😊

I do really like the wind walker other than its short boost and god awful armor, but I still think the Fireball is better of the starting 4 though.

Maybe it is just oddities of the Japanese version I play where the machine is called the Dirty Joker, but this machine has much better speed retention than the fighting comet in my experiences.

The game is absolutely amazing and very fun and it reminds me of F ZERO X a lot but I hate the fact that I feel like I can't enjoy it because it's not really F ZERO if that makes sense like as in it doesn't have the f-zero characters music and all of that it's hard for me to explain again absolutely love the game I guess it's just the fact that Nintendo haven't made an new f zero game because I miss everything about f-zero the characters the machines the music the tracks that's just how I feel but do play this game it's really cool

Not that I've tried every single machine, but this was the only machine I used to beat every cup on Master, including AX. It's been said that the Fat Shark is the best machine in the game, but if Fat Shark is #1, where would you put Dark Schneider?

The only good thing about this gear is getting a lot of rings after the race is over.

In F-zero unleashed, the super piranha feels amazing Its got an odd kind of handling, since it drifts somewhat easy at low speed, but hunkers down and grips like a dream at high speed, as if the spoiler was doing massive work. It's top speed is raised to be competitive while also maintianing great acceleration, its still an acceleration focussed craft after all The boost is downright great, and its high acceleration and unusual handling it maintains speed through corners in ways other machines cant at all, making a decently buffed boost into an outright monster I've routinely hit 2000km/hr on most tracks at some point. Its only struggle is that it outperforms in turns where it gives way in straights, since other machines are able to have a higher overall speed during those sections, but the piranha can carry the speed it wants into any turn it wants

No idea how I unlocked this as a kid, my reflexes probably aren’t the same lol

The Golden Fox might be pretty bad in GX, but GX also gave him the best pilot theme, so they didn't do him dirty like some of the others.

GX had a few unlockable music tracks for stages, I always wished phantom road you could unlock the rainbow road theme for it.
