Although I had Yamaha RD250's both air cooled and LC's, I still adore the sound and looks of the KH's, had two of them, my friend had a 250 KH with Mick Grant pipes on, ear splitting if the removable cans were off!.. 2 stroke heaven 😍

The CBX was rushed out once they learned of the KZ1300 development. The KZ is a much better bike in every way, yes I have both.

I love this....we rode h1 and h2's and felt the vibes. The GT had guts and a smooth ride..You can wheelie it and burnout. It sounds awesome.

It was quite a good bike but me it was not a superbike, compared to the later GS1000E or GS1100E. I had all three of them so I should know. In my book, in order to be a superbike there has to be good handling. The GT750 handled poorly in cornering and curves unless you took them rather slowly and carefully. Both the GS1000 and 1100 could carve up the curvy roads effortlessly compared to the GT750. I put many miles on all three machines from 1976 to 1983.

I had one. It almost killed me. The front end had a tendency to develop tank slap. I sold it after that.

I moved up to a GS750 from a Honda Dream 250. What a change, it was a revelation for me. Lovely bike. Eventually went on to a GSX1100ET.

Yeah, what do you call hot in the UK? I went to the motorcycle museum in Birmingham back in 91 and was surprised to see a 1000cc across the frame 4cylinder prototype made by Triumph. The engine looked a lot like the Honda 750, but from memory the Triumph was made before the Honda. I prefer the Z1 to Honda's 750 for capacity and looks. We called the Suzi a "water bottle" here in Oz and a lot of the riders I knew wanted one, but just like me they couldn't afford it. I had a blue K2 Honda Goldwing , exactly like the one you have for 20 years and did just under 400,000Ks on it. And it's still going, I know the owner.

I am not sure if the H1 or H2 had a nickname the rubber framed wheelie monster with no brakes , but you learned how to ride better you had to or else. My mate Tom brought an early H1 distributor model in the late 70s rapid.

I was born in 1943 in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa, and after beginning my teaching career in 1965, I worked for about five years until I had enough money to fly to Good Old England to start my motorcycle tour of the continent. I flew to England and bought myself a Suzuki GT 250 Ram-Air bike. It was the only bike I could afford! During my high school years I rode a beautiful BSA Winged Wheel with the real BSA, front-fork sprung suspension, so biking has always been in my blood. This Suzuki served me admirably for over 4500 miles from Scotland to Southampton and from Hook of Holland to Austria, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland Italy, France and back to London. It had, however, a nasty habit of ramming not only air, but also water if one rode in the rain. The silly, aluminium spark plug covers were a death-trap for the never-ending rains - even in summer! I was also, according to the officials at the base station of the Eiger Glacier funicular rail station, the very first person who had ridden a "Zwei-tak-moto" (two-stroke motorcycle) that high into that area. I explained to them that I knew how to ride in that very high altitude (about 3 500meters if I remember correctly), by using the choke just gently! I also remember riding closely behind huge tour busses, just to benefit from the warm air which emanated from their air-conditioning systems! I am now 81 years young, and still ride my 1982 Suzuki GS1000G bike in Cape Town!
