he was descending like a madman, exciting to see. But when you are realistic, way too dangerous.

Brian, I'm over 70 and ridden those roads for over 30 years. I've done lots and lots of climbing in the french alpes, suisse, dolomiti, Austria and I know the Furka Pass really well. It isn't a race my friend, the roads aren't closed for racing. If you would have been knocked off and seriously injured or killed squeezing in between that car and the coach, how would the driver of the coach and car driver have felt? What about your mate filming behind? We just have to think of others mate, anything less is irresponsible.

Late to the game. Besides being a fantastic video of the descent, the color grading is fantastic!

Bardet was kind of Dee-yick descender over the first few K's, but settled down after a bit. He could have been much better and gave Vermaerke some bar room to run his own lines. Vermaerke handled the situation with grace and class. Hats off to that kid, I think he effortlessly put Bardet on the defense a number of times and from what I saw, he showed the champ up.

All fun untill you have a deer jump out in front of you at 35mph on a foggy day at 8am. Its no mans land, Used to ride those canyons all the time. 110miles every Wednesday.

Can’t say I’ve ever gone that fast but I remember as a Boy Scout doing a long-range bike trip when I was 16. There was a day when I was coasting downhill in the Sierra Nevada’s at about 40mph. I’ve never felt more alive.

Beautiful scenery, and the speed fantasy is lovely, but… running the red light at 6:13, endangering not only yourself but your fellow human beings in a tight spot on a mountainside, is the perfect clue to how stupid and self-centered you guys must actually be. I guarantee you no one would think less of you if you acted more responsibly.

I don’t believe this not at all. Never in my lifetime of being an event photographer cycleing 3,235 events in 47 states 302,570 miles with over 900,000. Cyclists have I ever heard or seen descending any mountain fast then 58 mph or hear of anyone descending faster then 58 mph. A few tandem’s have. I did not hear where or what road this took place.
