Ahhhh, reminds me of my days as an apprentice. I'd stand in the booth off to the side and watch. No questions and (almost) no talking, just me paying attention to every move the master did, then asking questions later outside the booth. I see why you like that VOC clear, awesome finish!

I’m an amateur. Wondering why when you sprayed the first coat on the bonnet sprayed the first half and then went straight over it a second time and same for the second half?

He’s using PPG one vist modifier similar to standox. You basically apply one full coat and a drop coat all at the same time without flashing off between coats.
