@OhSoLovingly Believe it or not, Christmas🎅 in many parts of India, is celebrated with all the fun and fanfare as in the West. Being a former British colony, there is a great tradition of churches holding midnite mass on Christmas eve. Plus, some homes, shops and malls put up🎄 faux trees along with decorations and lights. The spirit of Christmas is in the air...carols, Christmas cakes and so on. The major difference is... gift giving is on a much smaller scale. Foodwise, probably the absence of roast turkey and cranberry sauce. Mostly local delicacies are enjoyed. Also, no snowfall...being a tropical country!♥️

Inspiring as always! This will be my 2nd Christmas without my Mom so your comments about diving into joy really resonated. I didn’t muster up enough joy last year to decorate or put up a tree…. But this year I decided to bring the holiday spirit back to my home (and actually put up two small trees). May your best holiday memories with your Dad bring you joy this season!! 🎄

Heather, I lost my dad on Christmas Eve as well many many years ago, and there are other hard things that we are dealing with, but I am so grateful that our good Lord is with us; carrying us, giving us peace, giving us hope, and giving us the best gift we could ever want, even though we didn’t know how much we needed it… Salvation!

Aww Lisa I’m so sorry for your loss!! It’s so hard isn’t it?! We have to distract ourselves with pretty things and rely on Jesus 100%. At the end of the day Christmas wouldn’t be what it really is without Jesus on the cross, so we are reminded that we all suffer - even God!

This house was beautiful. Consider panning very slowly in videos, this was hard to watch and not get nauseated, it will help your viewing and return watchers. I had to stop the video every couple minutes to be able to see the room and the details. Loved the walk in closet, didn't care for the living room it seemed very bland. Lucy's is adorable and Boxwood.

Heather, you are VERY inspiring to lead a beautiful and curated life each day - even when it’s just for you and no one else. My favorite Host/Hostess gift is a small box of exquisite chocolates that the Hostess can nibble on with a cup of tea after all the guests have left…. And then I follow that up with a small bouquet (or flowering plant) delivered the next day with a thank you note expressing how much I enjoyed their party.

I’ll tell you what else you could do with those botanicals!🎉 if you have one big wall, you can set them up on a grid and do rows as big as tall as you can make a giant rectangle… Horizontally or vertically! That is a timeless use of these botanicals and I would pick up 12 of those in a heartbeat!❤
