One more comment… As a woman in her very early 60s who does low-key interior design for others… I have always decorated my home in the style that I have loved. Sometimes it comes into fashion. Sometimes it becomes more classic, but my number one rule is don’t bring in anything unless you absolutely love it. Such great advice you are giving, Heather! Thank you!❤

Aww I’m so happy you’re loving the vibe! It’s so true, you’ll be happier & more content this way, too. People think buying new things is happiness and it can be, but also being thankful & content with what you have is important. 💋💋

Hi from Long Island NY. Great tips Heather! I will often Google search a pic of an item to try & find it at different locations for possibly a lower price. I was thinking how beautiful it would be if you painted a scene within the fireplace mantle in your entryway. You are so talented. Also your sourdough bread is really looking great. Have a great week Heather 😊

I'm watching from the town of Perry, Florida, where we got hit with 3 hurricanes in 13 months!! Idalia, Debby and most recently Helene. (Thankfully, not Milton) We've had reverse osmosis filtered water for years. I feel good drinking it. I'm amazed at the amount of wealthy people who lug bottled water home, when they can have RO water! I dont like drinking out of plastic, who knows what chemicals are in it! A little tip - the company recommends changing the filters once a year, but if you're a small family of one or two, and don't have well water like me, you can wait another year. Last time I changed them, they weren't even dirty (I live alone) after 3 years. I brand i have is United Hydro.

Oh wow Barb I had no idea you were in Florida! How did y’all fare during these storms? The brand we have is APEC & we have 6 filters - it’s wild! Some filters last a few months but some actually last up to 3 years! It’s so cool. And I know - a huge money saver in comparison to plastic bottles! 💕

Yes, one of the filters is called a membrane, I think and it lasts 3 to 5 years. It's the most expensive filter. I even brush my teeth in the kitchen! lol. I don't trust my well water. You probably have city water, so it's cleaner then well water, which can have bacteria, etc. You are such a lovely person! Your sister too! Your parents did a great job!

Heather, also, where did you get that ginormous beautiful tea/coffee cup? I love my coffee cups extra large and I’m just wondering how you searched to find that online if you found it online but if not if there’s a certain name for that kind of cup?
