Here in the Netherlands it is free because you pay health insurance every month, which does not cost as much as with you. Omg 100 thousand can buy you a piece of land or an apartment. my husband has a pakistani passport and we had the same airport situation in qatar too but luckily the airport worker was kind enough to let us slide cos we didn’t know and had already booked a hotel. just depends on who you get at customs i guess 😅
